Only takes about 10-15 mins from Stornoway to the house so very close to amenities. The house was really cosy when we arrived and very welcoming.We had everything we needed for a lovely stay,there was plenty of books and games to keep us occupied when...More

About the neighbourhood
The house is eight miles outside of Stornoway which is the main town that has numerous bars and restaurants. It is also close to some beautiful beaches and just over an hours drive from the world acclaimed beaches of the Isle of Harris.
Getting around
Best way to get around is by car though there is a good bus service to Stornoway, and from there to the rest of Lewis and Harris. Car hire is widely available but should be booked in advance.
