We welcome guests seeking a home-away-from-home atmosphere while vacationing or visiting Rosarito, whether for a long, self-catering stay (one-month minimum) or as a seasonal residence ( up to six month's lease). Our family-owned apartment is situated on the top floor of Rosarito's " Qunintas del Mar", a seven-story condominium with many of the amenities of a resort. Conveniently located in the center of town on Rosarito's main street (Blvd. Benito Juarez), yet peacefully secluded within a gated community and protected by 24-hour security guards on site, covered private parking and, exclusively for residents, a laundry service on the premises. GREAT unit in a poor building
This a spacious condo with excellent ocean views and many amenities. Beautiful tile and granite counter-tops with very nice appliances and all the kitchen gadgets you could possibly want. There is no heat or A/C, but it's not needed with fans in each room and temps varying between 65 and 70 degrees. There are 2 flat-screen TVs and an older kid's TV; and the Internet and cable work just fine. You can't drink the water, but you CAN refill your 5 gallon bottles for only $0.50 each locally. It's within walking distance from lots of stores and shops and the beach. It's not very close to the tourist area's bars and such. We thought that that would be a good thing because of the noise. However, we were surprised to find we had to endure the VERY LOUD fair music across the street each night until 2:00 am between July 11th and 28th. The condo has double-paned windows, and that helped a little (bring earplugs). The building in which this condo is located is suffering from lack of upkeep especially if you're on the top floor. Only one of the elevators works (and sometimes it breaks down as well). The roof overhangs are crumbling, breaking away and pigeons are nesting inside. You can hear them running around and making noises and depositing feathers, guano and dead bird parts.

A very clean unit in a safe building.
I planned to stay for 6 months, but I stayed for 18 months. The unit was remodeled and is nice with new windows. There is a balcony with a nice view of the ocean. The unit is away from the elevator and street. The building is very secure. The owner of the unit is very responsive, punctual and dependable.
As for the negatives: The building next door is an eye-sore. The water pressure in the master bathroom isn't very good. Most people know that Mexico can be a very noisy country, and when there are truck races here or a fair, it can get quite loud.
If I was to come back to Mexico, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

very nice ocean view condo
My wife a two children ages 10 & 13 stayed in this great condo the second week of June. The condo is exactly like the pictures, two bedroom two bath. The kitchen and bathrooms look like they have been newly remodeled. There is plenty of room in this condo all of the rooms are spacious. The Condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a great vacation. There is a housing community at the entrance of the condo that has a great bar and restaurant (The Beach Comber) on the beach along with a swimming pool and volleyball court. The beach access is a short walk through the housing community. There is a Calimex grocery store right out of the entrance to the North and a Smart & Final just to the South. Both stores are easy walking distance. There is even a Walmart in the town, not walking distance. There are restaurants and taco stands all within walking distance as well.The transaction to get the keys and elevator card was very easy process with Hans. Everything was perfect. I would definitely rent this condo again, hopefully for a longer period of time.

Home away from home
Stayed for a week with friends and found the experience to be first-class in all respects. Jing and Hans (owner) were very professional, attentive and available to answer questions and made the arrival and departure process as flexible as possible. The residential community of “Quintas del Mar” is located in the center of town yet tranquil and highly secure.
Elegant, clean, comfortable and spacious interiors. The unit is on the seventh floor, but the elevator worked fine. There was plenty of parking (although no reserved spaces) at all times inside the gated facility. All-in-all, a great experience, especially for a longer stay. Not a resort, although the staff on site are friendly and helpful. Very much a “home away from home” ambience, as advertised.

Un Segundo Hogar Frente al Mar
Pasamos dos meses de vacaciones en este apartamento, disfrutando del clima y de la tranquilidad de Rosarito a principios de ano. Esta muy bien cuidado, de dos habitaciones amplias con dos banos completos ( ducha o banadera ). Nos sobro espacio, sintiendonos muy comodos, como en casa. Facilmente se acomodan cuatro y quizas hasta seis personas. Las camas son anchas, con colchones en muy buen estado, y para dormir dos personas comodamente. En cada habitacion se encuentra un televisor, ademas del que esta en la sala. El internet funciono en todo momento y se captan canales tanto en espanol como en ingles. Ahorramos bastante, aparte de no tener que salir a restaurantes para cada comida, usando la cocina para preparar desayunos y almuerzos a nuestro gusto. El refrigerador se ve que es nuevo y lo mismo la estufa electrica y un horno microondas.
Quizas lo que mas se aprecia es la paz y la seguridad. Salir al balcon para contemplar el mar y la puesta del sol no tiene precio, es un lujo, y tanto desde la sala como desde la recamara se ve el mar y se sale al balcon. El edificio esta ubicado en Quints del Mar. A toda hora del dia y de noche encontramos un guardia de seguirdad presente en la entrada al estacionamiento del edificio. Sin tarjeta de acceso no se abren las puertas de la barrera ni se permite entrada al ascensor. (La enntrada al estacionmiento para residentes esta controlada por barreras automaticas y custodiada 24 horas del dia por el equipo de seguridad).
Quintas del Mar es una comunidad residencial, no un hotel, y el apartamento en si es acogedor y sumamente atractivo para quien busca paz, tranquilidad y privacidad. Recomendable para matrimonios y pequenas familias que quieran compartir una estadia en un ambiente hogareno y seguro, muy cerca de la playa, con vista al mar y la comodidad de ubicarse en el corazon de Rosarito.

Peaceful and Relaxing Stay
Very responsible owner, present on day of arrival to make sure all was in order. Enjoyed a peaceful stay with relaxing view of the ocean from balcony. Simple, straightforward transaction. Apartment was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. It is on the 7th floor, but there is an elevator. Felt safe at all times. Security guard at the main entrance, parking space inside the gates; you need an access card to open the gates and to use the elevator ( owner provided it along with the keys). Good location, in the center of town, as described, you can walk to a beach through a residential area and there is a medium size supermarket around the corner). It is not a luxury resort but is a quiet condo-style building that feels safe and secure. For the price and all the conveniences, preferable to a typical hotel room (much nicer than rooms we have booked at Rosarito Beach hotel) and ideal for a family or friends.
