Town: Southerness is a small village overlooking Solway Firth, and forms part of the Colvend coast. Within the village you will find a choice of two pubs, a village store, a leisure centre with a pool and two miles of sandy beaches. the Southerness Championship Golf Course offers views of the Solway Firth, the Cumbrian Lake District to the south.

Brilliant holiday
We had beautiful weather and a lovely welcome from Kate and George, the cottage is a home from home, And we would recommend it to our family and friends, the west coast of Scotland is beautiful and been to many place and we would recommend going to Creetown gem museum as it’s great for kids As the food in the cafe is freshly made for you , also everyone in Southerness are very friendly and helpful. Hope to come back sometime soon. Regards Lisa and Peter Brown .
