It is just a few miles from Coldingham Bay, one of Scotlands loveliest beaches and makes the perfect base for a holiday in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Great walking, cycling, bird watching at St Abbs Head, golf courses, beaches and castles are all within easy reach and the city of Edinburgh is less than an hour away.

Garden Cottage has its own private garden with barbecue & eating area and a separate lawn with, climbing frame & slide. A large paddock is adjacent - perfect for ball games & running about! Clean and comfortable accommodation in a lovely location. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely use Fairlaw again when visiting family

We really enjoyed our stay at this warm and cosy cottage. It is fantastic for families and has every thing you need including a games cupboard and fishing nets! The location is great there is so much to do - Alnwick castle, Bamburgh, Holy Island...More

This area really has so much on offer for all ages & tastes! Be it walking, surfing, beach combing, golfing, bird watching, visiting castles & historic houses to mention just a few activities.

If it is walking you are after we have wonderful Coastal walks . THE SOUTHERN UPLAND WAY, BERWICKSHIRE COASTAL PATH, ST CUTHBERTS WAY, BORDERS ABBEY WAY to mention but a few.. Every September there is a week long FESTIVAL OF WALKING led by a the Countryside Ranger Service with a selection of walks for all abilities & ages.
