10/10 for everything! Great hosts and stunning property. Plenty of space for the children and dog to play. Nice and quiet location close to the beach and a short drive to shops. I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you to Karen and Ant!

About the neighbourhood
Located in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the area has more "Blue-flag" beaches than any other area of the UK. Beaches range from the more tourist orientated (e.g.Tenby) with facilities close by, through to many completely natural coves that are only accessible after a short walk and are less crowded. The are is steeped in history - Henry VII was born in Pembroke Castle, St Govan's chapel (a chapel built into the cliffs), St David (Wales' patron Saint) led his ministry from North Pembs, etc. The area is often used as a film or TV location (Harry Potter, Robin Hood, Snow White & the Huntsman, The Pembrokeshire Murders, etc). There are many local attractions for children of all ages (Oakwood, Dinosaur Park, Folly Farm zoo, etc)
Getting around
As above, you will need a car to get here and to get further afield. You can reach several beaches, pubs, or Pembroke town on bicycles in about 45 mins if you are feeling energetic!

How to get there
You will really need a car to holiday here as we are about 5 miles from the nearest train station and there are no buses to/from the hamlet. Head down the M4 until it ends at Pont Abraham services, then follow the A48 to Carmarthen. Pick up the A40 from Carmarthen to St Clears then take the A477 south to Pembroke. From Pembroke, follow the signs for Castlemartin then follow the signs to the "Range viewing area" and we are next door - you can watch the manoeuvres from the comfort of a deckchair with a drink in your hand!
