About the neighbourhood
St. Davids is the smallest city in Britain and Wales’ ancient spiritual capital, with ecclesiastical roots stretching back to the monastic settlement founded by St. David, patron saint of Wales. It includes a Norman Cathedral and Bishop’s Palace, as well as a smaller museum at Porth-y-Twr. The Cathedral is one of the highlights of Pembrokeshire, and well worth a visit whatever the weather. Don’t forget to drop in at Oriel-y-Parc when you’re there, a National Gallery dedicated to the exploration of landscape. Contact St. Davids TIC on 01437 720392.
