The property is centrally and ideally located to enjoy the whole island, It is in a quiet area on the main roadway on the outskirts of the settlement of Mt. Thompson, Exuma. It is approximately 6 minutes drive north to the Sandals and Grand Isle Resorts, and 15 minutes drive south to George Town. It will take approximately 35 minutes to drive to the northern end of the island and 40 minutes to drive to the southern end of the island from the property. There are a number of restaurants with a mile to a ten mile radius from the property.

Super Lage und tolles Haus
Es war einfach ein Traum! Haus steht direkt am Strand und man hat im Haus alles was man braucht. Es gibt genug Strandtücher, Handtücher und alles, was man sonst noch benötigt (Fön, Mikrowelle, Backoffen, Klimaanlage, Mückengitter, Ventilatoren Grill...)
Das Haus ist sehr sauber und die Inhaberin war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. In der Nähe gibt es ein kleines Lebensmittelladen und Restaurant, aber man braucht ein Auto, um alles anzuschauen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.
Aber Ozean und Strand sind einfach unglaublich. Man möchte für immer auf der Terrasse sitzen bleiben 🙂

Great views
We got there and were greeted by the owners. They were finishing up cleaning and had us fresh bread made and drinks in the fridge.
Beautiful views. Went to the grocery and cooked at the rental all week. Nice place. Would return 👍

Chilin' and Relaxing at Rayann's
A very relaxing stay at Rayann's. RayAnn's beach house is close to the airport, probably around 5 minutes, which is good when you leave since you have more beach time. Never really did hear any planes since it appears they arrive and leave on the other side of the island. We would recommend renting a car so that you can truly explore this wonderful island. Isadora met us on our arrival and is such a nice host. We were in the Ray's apartment, which looking at the front of the property, it is on the right side. Very clean. The kitchen has enough plates, glasses, and silverware. The only thing that we were missing was having a larger fry pan. There was a small and medium fry pan which we used all of the time for our breakfasts. The place comes with 2.5 bathrooms, but we really only used the bathroom closest to the master bedroom. The view out of the master bedroom is fantastic. Looking out over 3 sisters beach with all the different blues was great. The bed was okay, but the fitted sheet would not stay in place due to the pillow top mattress. But, we made it work. We asked Isadora if there was any way that we could get a barbecue grill. The propane tank grill was out of commission, but Isadora got the charcoal grill cleaned and set-up for us. She left us charcoal and starter fluid. That was good since we had stopped at Prime Deli for some nice looking chicken breasts and baked potatoes. Prime Deli also had some great looking steaks, but we did not end up buying any. A very nice stay with very good hosts. Would recommend to families with children since they do have child proof gates at the stairs. We also had the neighbors dog as our buddy as we walked the beach everyday. The beach itself is over 2.5 miles long...and you usually have it all to yourself.... The water was rougher here than at the other beaches we visited. Our favorite was Coco Plum which we would recommend going to when it is low-tide. Just fantastic. Our next favorite is Forbes Hill Beach which is before Tropic of Cancer beach. Forbes Hill is just great. You have a quiet beach here and then you walk through a grass walkway to a wild side beach. Just great. The best thing about Tropic of Cancer beach is that you are close to Mom's bakery which is next to Santanna's. There tarts and chocolate rum cake are a must. And the owner is such a nice lady. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay...

Breathtaking Oceanview Beachouse
We were very lucky to book this place when we did and so pleased with our stay. This beachhouse is close to everything however, I would recommend renting a car.
The house is very clean and well kept. They have thought of everything that you need except your suitcase. It truly is your home away from home.
Be prepared to relax and unwind right on the back deck direclty overlooking the ocean, You will not find a better place. It's very private. The beach is clean and no one bothers you,

Home in Paradise
From the moment I arrived, I felt a sense of peace as I was surrounded by the most beautiful waters I have ever seen. I felt like I was transported into another world. The minute I entered I was immediately impressed by how clean the place, the decorations, and the little details that made the place feel like home. Rayanns Beach House was equipped with all the home essentials, Wi-Fi, and complimentary snacks and drinks. After exploring the two story beautiful unit, I stepped outside and I was in awe at the view. We had our own little private beach and BBQ area. I really had a hard time saying goodbye to the place. It was the perfect getaway house. The owner of the house, Mildred, made sure that we felt like it was our home in paradise. She treated me like I was part of her family not just another guest.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who... is looking for a getaway from everyday life... who wants a nice retreat with family and friends... who wants to self discover... or who simply just wants a great hospitality experience.
Rayanns is definitely my home away from home.

How to get there
Exit the airport and drive to the main roadway at the roundabout at the foot of the hill. On reaching the main road at the roundabout, turn left on the main road. Drive to the property should take about 4 minutes. Look for these signs on the right: Casa del Mar and Coldwell Banker/Lightbourne Real Estate. On the left is the Rubis Gas Station. On the right, there s a compound with two buildings. One building houses the business Hoggies (Convenience Store), and the other building has a liquor store and a Wellness Center. Next to these is a gray building, Three Sisters' Restauarant. Start to signal right because the next building is Rayanns Beach House. It is partly hidden behind a patch of cassaurina and sea grape trees.
