Our home is a three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms villa which offers the most magnificent striking 180 degree view of four bays: Rendezvous , Hart , Chocolate Hole and Great Cruz Bay, as well as St Croix and the island of Pillsbury Sound to the west.
Located on top of the mountain and at the very end of Rock Ridge road, only 5 minutes away on all paved roads form Cruz Bay,the house gives total privacy and tranquillity. The roadside leads you into the courtyard. An exotic landscape of native and tropical plants welcomes you to your new vacation home, where you could enjoy sun bathing and the pool in a relaxing and peaceful setting.
This was our primary home for many years, probably the happiest of our lives, and only after you stay here you will be able to realize why we called it The Sea of Love...

Tropical Paradise
This home was everything we hoped it would be. Every room has a view of the ocean. The pool was enjoyed at sunset after a long day at the beach. The deck was a a wonderful place to have dinner under the stars or breakfast with the tropical island breeze.

Fantastic view
This house is a mazing, very nice and very well kept. Manager and owner very easy to deal with. Great location, good views, nice furniture and a great balcony with pool and grill. We recommend it.

Beautiful Views
Gorgeous views. Home is high up in the hills, nice and private.
Decor could use some updating. Master bed was great but the other two were not comfortable.

Perfect house for couple & their adult kids!
The booking and prearrival coordination with Claudia was very easy and thorough. The house manager knows the island so well, and conveniently met us at the rental car pickup, so it was easy to follow her up, up, up to the house! What a driveway! But the view is so worth it! The pool deck was awesome, the interior furniture very comfortable, the kitchen was just right. The pool deck is fairly private, plenty to look at. The beach chairs were in great shape, and there was both a large & small cooler to take to the beach. Bedrooms each had their own A/C, every room has a direct ocean view. Great hot water & pressure. We rarely used the TV, but the wifi was good enough to sneak in some work during vacation. Our 8th time on the island, but the first time staying near Cruz Bay. Very convenient to groceries, gas & restaurants. Would love to come back in the future! Thank you Claudia & Myrtle!

Great vacation location
The views are amazing..The home is nothing short of spectacular. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else, now that I have found this great home. We will be back next year, and will hopefully get to stay here (books quickly). Thanks for everything....

Best vacation ever
You will not find a better place to stay, with a view that is priceless. The property is in great shape, and perfect location. Everyone on the island is extremely friendly and helpful. We will visit again..

Best vacation spot ever!
I had the privilege of staying in this incredible villa for 3 nights. We were a group of 6 and we all slept comfortably, waking up every day in paradise. All the rooms faced the water so we never fought over who would get the best view. They have an outdoor grill making it super easy to cook dinner and hang outside by the pool. It was by far one of my favorite vacation spots! Would definitely return!

Perfect in every way!
10 out of 10! Beautiful villa with everything anybody could want. Lovely pool. Beautiful fully functional kitchen and dining room. Earth shaking views. Easy access to town and beaches. Car rental is helpful. This place is clean, well-cared for and very comfortable. Ceiling fans in every room. A gorgeous deck. It was everything we hoped it would be and more. Thank you for everything! We hope to return.

Perfect!!
Villa Mar De Amores was everything we could ask for and so much more!! From start to finish the experience was PERFECT. The owner, Claudia, was extremely easy to work with and very responsive to my many questions as this was our first time staying on the island. Myrtle, the house manager was quite delightful and quick to respond to any of our needs. The location of this villa is ideal...a short drive to town yet located up in the tree tops where you can enjoy total privacy with the most amazing ocean and sunset views.
The villa feels so spacious with its high ceilings, wall of sliding glass doors, and balcony off the bedrooms. The outdoor living space includes an expansive deck with a refreshing pool, a sunny lounging area, a covered space for dining alfresco, and a generously sized grill.
We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time on St. John and would highly recommend Villa Mar De Amores as your "island home away from home".

The location, the views and all the comfort of the house, will make a place where you will want to come back.
Living / dining / kitchen
a unique one level design villa that has 13' high arched doors and windows and 25' beamed cathedral vaulted ceiling. You will drive through an impressive drive way to arrive to these spectacular three bedrooms, two bath villa. A very tall arched door enters you into the very spacious living room with imported tiles and mahogany and wicker furniture. This cosy indoor spot has many Caribbean details that will make your stay very comfortable. The Cable colours TV/DVD and stereo CD player are in this area.
The kitchen and the dining room follow. All shearing the magnificent view. The big and very well equipped kitchen has custom made cabinets and imported Spanish tiles and accents and has a teak table that seats six. An outside dining table and a gas grill, beach chairs and coolers are also available.
The kitchen open to a big balcony and pool through sliding glass doors, where there is also a covered gazebo, making it memorable for dining or sunset cocktails. You can also enjoy your morning breakfast while watching the cruise ships pas by or come back in the evening to soak in the glorious sunsets and watch the lights appear in St Croix.
The washer and dryer are located right next to the kitchen.
Following a doorway you will find the two smaller bedrooms both with queen size beds and comfortable and relaxing decoration. At the end you can find the master bedroom, which offers an exotic antique mahogany King Size bed and a master bathroom. The romantic deco and the ambiance of this room make it very appealing for honeymooners. The other bathroom is conveniently located close to the other two bedrooms.
Great views, comfortable lounge furniture and a very convenient location make a complete retreat for you to make the most unforgettable Caribbean experience.
