Oca Maloca apartment overlooks Drake's Channel, with a view of many islands. 450 sq.ft., one bedroom apartment - well appointed, kitchen fully equipped. Bedroom and bathroom are comfortable and spacious. Central location - 5 minutes drive to Nanny Cay restaurant bars, beach, marina and shops - 10 minutes to Road Town for shopping and more restaurants. Brewer's Bay is less than 10 minutes drive. Cane Garden Bay is about 10 minutes drive. There is ample private parking by the front entrance.

Please wash sand from feet and give the beach towels a good shake before entering the apartment. Sand is so hard to clean. Please turn off fans and a/c when leaving the apartment. We live in a residential area so please keep the noise level to a minimum.

Fantastic Stay, Wonderful Host!

Oca Maloca is a fantastic place to stay on Tortola. It has a wonderful view, fresh accommodations, and best of all a wonderful host. We stayed here when the BVI first reopened for tourism in late 2020 so we spent a great deal of time enjoying this inside and out. Dietmar arranged everything for us from grocery delivery to taxi service and provided great local intel. Highly recommend!

More perfect in person!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon over the holidays. From the beginning, Dietmar and Christianne's hospitality was unparalleled. We honestly couldn't have asked for better hosts (or new friends!). The location is perfectly just outside of town, with easy access to all parts of the island so long as you have a rental car, which we did. The apartment is spotless and the view is incredible. My husband wanted to sit out on the patio all day! If you are looking for a place to stay in Tortola, this rental is simply perfect!

About the neighbourhood

Oca Maloca is situated in a residential area known as Oleander Estate, in the area called Tredfall (by some) and located up a steep hill called Elevator Road. We overlook the Caribbean Sea and Sir Francis Drake Channel and are less than 5 minutes drive from Nanny Cay Marina, less than 10 minutes drive to Road Town and less than 10 minutes drive to two of the best beaches on Tortola. Nanny Cay has a number of restaurants and bars, a dive shop, yacht charter companies, a boat yard and chandler and a very fancy clothes shop.

Getting around

No public transport means relying on Taxis, which are not always available for last minute needs. Rental cars can cost around $75/day - sometimes cheaper. The roads are rough and can be slippery when wet so a AWD or 4WD is recommended.

How to get there

Because the airport and the ferry terminal are both east of Oca Maloca, you will probably be travelling west along the coast road until you reach Nanny Cay and Captain Mulligan's restaurant. You will be met and led up the hill to the apartment.
