Relax in beautiful Rose Hall away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just a few minutes drive and you are at the beach where you can spend all day swimming, tanning, eating and just relaxing every day. There are lively spots along the coastline where you can enjoy cold beers, cocktails and fresh seafood. In the community there are also small bars nearby, local food shops and restaurants. Also, within a 5 mile radius, are supermarkets, gas stations, ATM's, a private hospital, KFC/Pizza Hut and Burger King, international restaurants, shopping and lots more. For anything else, the property is only 20 minutes from the city centre.

Great place to just relax!
I enjoyed my 7 nights at Sherika's place. The finigh night I was there I woke up at around 6 in the morning because I wasn't feeling well and when I heard those birds chirping and calling outside I was in awe. The apartment itself has everything you need to feel comfortable and at home. There's cable tv, strong Wi-Fi signal in both rooms and a kitchen where I made most of my meals. I paid to have Sherika make breakfast for me and that was well worth it! She makes the best pancakes EVER! I also got the famous Blue Mountain Coffee every morning and I loved that too. Sherika, the owner, will always try to make you comfortable and if you have any problems she tries to fix them right away. She's friendly and gives good travel tips but she leaves you alone to enjoy your vacation. If you want to sleep until noon she will wait until then to bring you a warm breakfast. I really appreciated that! The house is nicely furnished, not luxury, but still tasteful and super clean. Also, it is very secure. I actually slept with my windows open because I felt safe and had no problems at all. The beach is about 10 minutes walk from the house and it is great. I just laid on the sand with my coconut in hand, took in the breeze and watched the days go by. I miss it already but I will be back in summer! Highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay
I have just returned from a two week stay at this apartment and want to thank the host for their hospitality. The apartment was clean and well furnished. I can't wait to book my next stay. It was nice and peaceful and I was lucky enough to try the roasted bread fruit. It was nice to be able to come and go and feel safe in the area.

Great apartment for couples
Stayed with my wife here for 2 weeks for our honeymoon. I enjoyed it very much. The property is well taken care of and there is everything in the apartment to make you feel at home. Sherika was a pleasant host and seemed genuinely willing to help. I have already booked to return.

About the neighbourhood
The Rose Hall area is the tourism mecca of Jamaica. Here you find most of Montego Bay's 4 and 5 star hotels, including the Hyatt Ziva, Iberostar Rose Hall and the Half Moon. Rose Hall is a beach-side district with lots of rich history including it being one of the largest sugar plantations in Jamaica.
Nearby you can find restaurants, beaches, bars, supermarkets, schools, churches and lots more. We are also a 4-minute drive from the Montego Bay Convention Centre and the historic Rose Hall Great House. There is also an duty-free shopping centre 5 minutes away where you may purchase jewellery, perfumes, souvenirs, Cuban cigars and lots more.
Getting around
The best way to get around is to rent a car. It is easy for you to get going whenever you like without having to wait on a bus or trying to catch a taxi.
If you are not good with driving on the left, we have local drivers that we recommend to take you on tours around Jamaica at discounted prices. You may also take regular shared taxis (very economical) or the express bus to other towns and cities.

If you would like for me have a taxi pick you up from the airport I can arrange that for you. The cost is $35 for up to 4 persons. You may also take a taxi and tell the driver you are going to Waddat Shop up Bob Man Hill in Lilliput. The taxi will take you straight to the house. You will also receive driving directions once the booking is confirmed.
