The 3 floor barn was built the early 1900s and was used to store grain. We turned it into a guest house, respecting its unique traditional character. The original wooden structure was preserved (including original beams, floors and ceilings), which makes the amosphere very warm. The barn, the manor house and the other buildings of the farm complex are set in 40 acres of beautiful paddocks and parkland with century old trees.

Rural Gem
Stayed as an extended family group of 9 people and had a fantastic time! The barn was huge and plenty big enough for our group with six double/twin rooms most of which had en-suite bathrooms. The bedrooms were tastefully decorated and well appointed and the communal space was more than adequate. Outside the grounds were large and blended seemlessly with the owners' garden.
The house is set in a relatively isolated location which we enjoyed but you can be at Lake Balaton within about 20 mins or so.

Wonderful house and natural beauty of the countryside
Near the Southern banks of the Balaton in Keliviz . This house was a wonderful find there were 9 of us and we rented the whole house . Wonderfully decorated and restored. So peaceful.The owners and the people that help care of the property were wonderful ,helpful and caring. They produce there own wine make sure you try and buy some. Fantastic communication after we booked with directions, answering questions ,sights of the area ect.
My only complaint was the lady bugs the windows were invested with them. And the Wifi was very spotty. A router in the Bat barn would solve this.
