Converted from a Grade 2 listed coach house and stable this characterful cottage sits in the beautiful small town of Colyton just 2 miles from the Jurassic Coast (a World Heritage Site). It is adjacent to Stable Cottage which is also listed on this site. Surrounded by beautiful countryside the cottage is an ideal base for coastal, countryside and riverside walking. There are a number of golf courses within a few miles and the coastal resorts of Lyme Regis, Seaton and Beer are nearby. Colyton is an authentic historic small town with a thriving community and all the amenities associated with that. It has several pubs, a tea room, Post Office, butcher, local store and Heritage Centre! The cathedral and university city of Exeter, rich in history, shops and culture is only 40 minutes by car. The picturesque Axe Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, forms the backdrop to this delightful location. Photographs show super kingsize bed set up but this can also be adapted to a twin bedded arrangement by request. Also sofa bed is available as a double again on request. There is an outside seating and eating area adjacent to the dedicated parking space. Due to the high demand of turnaround of holiday cottages in this area check in is currently at 6pm but this is hopefully offset by a check out pushed back to noon. If this presents a particular problem we may be able, at times and depending on specific circumstance, to make an adjustment.More
