Wonderful little cottage with beautiful views of the forest and lake. Host was receptive and property was exactly as described. Would stay again!

Very dirty place with doors that do not lock and a terrible smell. We booked for 3 nights and left next day. we would have left the same day if we could find a hotel. It doesn't look that any body cares about that property. It just continues to be rented as is. Will not recommend or ever consider renting again. I feel that I should be refunded the amounts I paid based on the experience and the state the property was.

The location is lovely in Quebec. I enjoyed the deck with views of the sunrise and sunset. I was ready for a very relaxed week. I knew ahead of time that there was no swimming off the dock since it was shallow and weedy. The owner did have 2 boats available with paddles. Swimming was off the raft which you canoed out to. The cottage was not clean when I got there. I spent 1/2 hour cleaning it. It was a basic cottage. Not all the burners on the stove worked. The BBQ was very new and it was great to use it. The owner did not make it out to be updated so the advertising was accurate. The trees around the cottage gave plenty of shade which I liked. This cottage gave me what I needed, a spot to get away and enjoy August days.

This property is exactly as advertised by the owner and is an absolutely beautiful place to stay and disconnect from the world. We were 5 people, so it was definitely cozy, as there are two double bed and a cot, but we all fit perfectly. The views and the lake itself can't be beaten - every view is gorgeous especially from the back deck. The closest grocery store (IGA) and town (Wakefield) are only about a half an hour away, so we went in to get groceries, firewood and look around, but mostly we stayed in this beautiful place, enjoyed the water, the fishing and boats on the lake. I would book this place again in an instant - it is definitely more on the rustic side, but perfect for my family and I as we enjoy being out in nature and away from the city. Just beware that there is very little to no cell phone signal, and the wifi is spotty, but it really doesn't matter if you're looking to disconnect, as in the evenings we would make a fire or watch a DVD. Highly recommend for those who know country living, enjoy rustic and breathtaking views, and don't mind being away from people for a while.

Nous avons passé de belles vacances, le chalet est old school et charmant. La baignade est agréable et les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques. C’était notre deuxième fois et pour le prix on ne peut trouver mieux.

We had a good experience! A small but cozy spot. We enjoyed barbecuing and the fire pit. It was nice to canoe and boat, but heads up, the water is very shallow unless you take the boats to the dock in the middle of the lake/pond. There was just enough toilet paper for us and no dish soap when we got there, which made it seem like the space wasn't cleaned in between our visit and the previous one (or at least not done that well). All in all though, we had a good experience and the place was as expected based on the reviews and the listing.

Quiet, deep in nature, restful.

The host's description of this cottage is accurate. As mentioned in other reviews this cottage is right off the main road but that was not a problem for us. There wasn't much traffic. It is on the rougher side of rustic ... but there were lots of birds and bees to watch. We split our time between the deck and the dock and it was nice and quiet.

Had a fun experience and my nephew say 1000/1000 Same for me hopefully I will get a chance to go back
