Cozy and high standard cottage with a nice view of Lake Mjøsa with five bedrooms, two living rooms, two bathrooms with WC and a separate WC and large kitchen with dining area. Large sunny terrace with views of Lake Mjøsa and mountains. Great hiking opportunities both to the mountains and to the water. Several marked hiking trails in the mountains around, a few minutes from the cottage. The town of Stange and Hamar is 30 minutes drive away with various shops and cafes. Mjoscabin is located 400 meters above sea level with a nice view of Lake Mjøsa. One hour drive from Oslo to Lillehammer, 30 minutes from Gardermoen (Oslo airport). Child-friendly area with large activity area in the cabin field with trampoline, football field, volleyball court and a large swing. In the cottage field you can meet various animals such as deer, goats and cows. Secluded and fantastic views of Lake Mjøsa with no other cabins in front or behind. From Mjøsli you have access to large outdoor areas in Stange and Eidsvoll municipality, with forests, wildlife, trails, water and cultural monuments. The local area offers great hiking and biking opportunities. The nearby ski slopes are run by Espa IL. In the wilderness behind Mjøsli there are several forest lakes and ponds with nice bathing spots and good fishing opportunities. Among other things, Lysjøodden has great barbecue facilities and an outdoor toilet. About the cabin Brand new cabin from March 2020 with a high standard, great for family reunions, birthdays, gatherings for everyone at work or just gathering friends that you see far too rarely. Then we have a large long table (for 16 people) dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer underneath. Here you can run barefoot in the summer and see deer, goats and cows right outside the cabin. There is 100MB FIBER internet in the cottage with 2 large TVs and music facilities. Room Description 170 km spread over 2 floors - 5 bedrooms + sofa bed in the living room on the 2nd floor - 2 bathrooms with WC (with large shower niche) and a separate WC - 2 living rooms including TV in both living rooms. - Kitchen incl. Fridge / freezer, oven, microwave and dishwasher - Dining room with large long table (16 people) -Laundry room with washer and dryer Details about sleeping accommodations Bedroom 1: 2 people - Double bed 150 cm Bedroom 2: 2/3 people - Bunk bed 120 x 90 cm Bedroom 3: 2/3 people - Bunk bed 120 x 90 cm Bedroom 4: 2/3 people - Double bed 140 cm + Bed 90 cm Bedroom 5: 2/3 people - Double bed 140 cm + Bed 90 cm Living room 2nd floor: 2 people - Sofa bed 150 cm A total of 16 people max utilization If you choose that only 1 person should sleep in the 120 / 140 cm beds and not use a sofa bed on 2 floors, we recommend 10 people. Mjoscabin is only rented out to responsible adults, families with children and companies. Including: As this is also our private cabin, this cabin is equipped with more kitchen equipment etc. than a regular rental cabin, therefore we are very concerned that you who rent take good care of the place when you are there. Clean linen and towels included in the price. Food can be ordered We recommend that you make the food yourself to create a good relationship with friends / colleagues. Bring ingredients and cook your own food in the nice new kitchen or grill in the outdoor area. You can also order food from us. We can offer all meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have an agreement with a good catering company that delivers good food to meetings and parties. Cake order, filling of refrigerator with basic goods, chef or other, feel free to get in touch and we will help with most things.
