The Demi de Melee is an 8 bed apartment situated within a short walk of Argentiere and the Grands Montets lift. The apartment is modern and well furnished and has access to a huge terrace where the shared hot tub is located. The apartment is in the same building as Le Deuxieme Ligne so you can come as a large group or rent out separately. The Argentiere village centre has a great range of bars, restaurants and shops providing plenty of options for apres ski, lunch and dinner.

Great apartment
A great trip as usual [this was our 3rd time there] - apartment is well located and comfortably furnished with all bedrooms being a decent size and the bathrooms very nicely done. Hot tub amazing as ever!

Excellent apartment, everything thought of
Nothing like sitting in a hot tub sipping wine after a day on the slopes. This apartment has it all. AdventureBase were very accommodating and provided excellent correspondence.
The flat is exactly as you see in the pictures. Sky Sports, a Nintendo Wii, Log fire, ski hire beneath, 5 minutes from the slopes, pub access close by, plenty of food markets close, washing machine and drier. Felt more like someone's house than a rental!

Exactly as in the pictures
The apartment is exactly what you can see in the pictures. It is big, clean, bright and spacious. 2 bedrooms have ensuite and the other 2 share a bathroom. There is also a separate toilet. Living space and kitchen is just perfect. Although it was a big open space it felt that living, dinning and kitchen were different rooms and it wasn't noise even with 8 people in the same space and 2 toddlers.
The management team was great and everything was ready when we arrived - cot and high chairs where requested in advance and were there.
The apartment is just 5 minutes from the slopes and the same distance for main amenities.

Fantastic accommodation and location
Well, it looked good on the internet and we were not disappointed when we arrived. The apartment is finished to a very high standard throughout and is very well located for access to the Grand Montets ski lift just a short 5 minute walk away. The main bus route down to Chamonix and up to La Tour has a stop just a couple of minutes walk away as are several excellent restaurants and bars.

Fantastic apartment in perfect location
Lovely apartment, recently renovated. All rooms good size with comfy beds and good quality linen and bathrooms very nice indeed. Ipod speakers in every room and very comfy sitting and eating areas. Wonderful hot tub shared between the 2 apartments. Easy walk from grande montee lift. Adventure base sorted catering for 3 nights for us to make life easy. This was our second year of booking and will do so again we hope!

Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and central
What more could we want? Wonderful open fire, hot tube with fine views of the peaks of Chamonix Valley. The chef has all they could need, music docks for iPods in bedrooms as well as the sitting areas.
Its hard to fault although there could be some more storage for bits and bobs around the kitchen

Brilliant accommodation and management
Our stay at Melee apartment argentiere was fabulous from day one. No - even before that - during the booking phase. The adventure Base team were, at all times, helpful, willing and always polite with a 'can-do' attitude.
The apartment was perfect; it was as it had seemed in the advertisments which is not always the case with rented properties. Generous is its dimensions, fittings and utilities it made a great place to spend a week. We are a family group of seven and we found that it had everything that we needed and more.
When we arrived alex from adventure Base was there to greet us; the fire was set; the hot tub ready and the beds fitted out with superb linen.
During the week nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had several enquiries about the area, facilities etc and our questions were always met with a willingness to help/direct etc.
The proximity to the Grand Montet was amazing and the bread shop nest door and ski hire nearby were also a bonus. Perfectly placed for public transport, supermarkets etc we couldn't have been more pleased.
Overall we would highly recommend the apartment and in particular adventure Base.

Superb accommodation in a Breathtaking Setting - Le Demi de Mele
We had the pleasure of staying here for a week in august. The apartment was, quite simply, outstanding, matched only by the backdrop of the Grand Montet and Mont Blanc. The spacious, four bedroom accommodation provided more than ample space for our two families, including young children. All of the bedrooms have their own en-suite facilities and the well appointed kitchen and dining/living room is a fantastic communal space. This is further enhanced by the floor to ceiling sliding doors that lead out on to an extensive balcony with hot tub and barbecue, with lots of space for relaxing and enjoying the view. The apartment itself is in argentiere, which was perfect for us as it was close enough to Chamonix to have easy access to the busier environment of the town, whilst also enjoying the quieter, more chilled atmosphere of argentiere. For anyone looking to make the most of the mountain landscape, the Grand Montet is literally on your doorstep and all of the other mountains/slopes are easily accessed by bus or train. One final aspect worth noting is that the apartment is managed by a company called adventure Base. Our experience of aB was that no request for advice and/or help with making the most of our stay was a problem. First class holiday all round - for all the family - and we are already planning a return trip to the Le Demi de Melee, this time in the ski season. We highly recommend Le Demi de Melee.

Perfect holiday for skiers and non-skiers!
The flat was gorgeous, spotless and perfectly situated. Who could complain with a view of Mt Blanc from the private hot tub?! Argentiere is a lovely town with everything one needs in walking distance. And to be able to walk to Les Grandes Montets/Panda Ski School as well was just fantastic and convenient. We loved skiing in La Tour as well - just a short drive up the road, it is well worth a visit. We'll definitely book again next year!
