There is another little snug area beyond with further seating.. on the upper level you will find the modern kitchen. There is also a downstairs toilet area off the main entrance hall. The first floor contains a twin bedded room with television/DVD. A second double bedroom can be found across the landing with King-size luxury bed and contemporary shower room. The top floor roof space houses another double bedroom with king-size bed, stunning views over Stroud's rolling countryside, off this a family bathroom can be found with WC, bath and shower over (please note the top floor has some restricted head room in the bedroom and bathroom).Outside is a small private courtyard area with seating and a gas BBQ. *** There is no parking directly outside the house, being sited in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty parking can found easily 150 yards from the cottage, up or downhill. *** A 10 minute walk from the front door will take you up on to Rodborough common with its breath-taking views across the Stroud valleys. The cottage's lovely kitchen also contains the dining room table, this can comfortable seat 4 adults - for larger bookings of 6 adults it may be a little snug on space.

The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The access was a little tricky...

About the neighbourhood
Rodborough Common lies just to the north of Minchinhampton Common and offers a dramatic panorama overlooking Stroud and the Severn Vale. It is renowned for its colourful array of wild flowers and butterflies, starting with the pasque flower in spring and a superb display of early purple orchids in May.
Minchinhampton Common a few miles further is a large swathe of open grassland on the hill top and slopes of the Cotswold escarpment. It is a really important archaeological landscape, with prehistoric field systems, burial mounds and the remains of a defensive earthwork, known as The Bulwarks. In the summer the common is grazed by local commoners' cattle, drive along enjoy the views and give way to the local cattle!!!
