There is only one Gypsy Rose.

*** Used as a 'location' for films, TV, photography, Gypsy Rose stands alone in our ancient apple orchard, overlooking a brook and waterfall. ***

This is not part of a holiday complex - you have a wagon, a pile of wood, a waterfall and a wash-shed in our orchard; very much a 'what you make it' break, if you love nature, peace, quiet and comfy camping this is the place!

Gypsy Rose is an authentic bow-top Gypsy Vardo (wagon/caravan) beautifully painted, decorated and dressed in traditional Romany gypsy style.
She's been 'on the road' as a horse-drawn living wagon and has come to rest in her own private bower in our ancient apple orchard, by a mistletoe-laden tree and overlooking her own garden and waterfall.
You'll have a real gypsy-wagon...

About the neighbourhood
You're in the Forest of Dean - one of the last large tracts of ancient mixed woodland in Britain, with lovely walks from the doorstep. To the east, the Severn Estuary, famed for the Severn Bore, is about a mile away. To the west, 43 square miles of Forest are all yours! Stroll through bluebell woods, forage for wild garlic, fungi and blackberries, all free! Or visit local attractions - Go Ape, the Sculture Trail, Dean Heritage Museum, Clearwell Caves, the Dean Forest Railway, Puzzlewood and the beautiful Wye Valley gorge, Chepstow and Goodrich castles... It's an hour's drive to Cardiff, Hereford and Hay on Wye, and about 30 mins to Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
Getting around
The Forest is about 8 miles across and 17 miles north/south, so the best way of getting around is by car. Dedicated cycle tracks criss-cross the Forest (nearest is about a mile) and there are lots of lovely walks in the woods, Wye Valley and Severn estuary.
The nearest bus-stop is about 300yds, with buses to Gloucester and through the Forest to Coleford running regularly. The Dean Forest steam Railway runs from Parkend (3miles) to Lydney.
