Wow!
What a fabulous house, so comfortable and warm.
The views from upstairs are especially amazing, but there are views from all rooms at the front.
The owner has thought of everything you could possibly need, there are lots of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery etc.
The welcome pack was lovely and much appreciated.
Although the drive round the mountain is single track we had no problem and found that everyone drives carefully and considerately on it.
Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in County Mayo.

Piece of Heaven
After a long drive we arrived at ocean view to a spectacular sunset! The house is very comfortable especially the tv room with an amazing view so relaxing!
Paula really has thought of everything & very happy to help with any queries. We will definitely come back

Heaven in the West
We were so lucky to get a week in Ocean View Cottage. We had everything we needed for a 5 star stay. The kitchen, Bathrooms and views were wonderful. We only had to share the space with hares, pheasants and cuckoos. Great beaches and Islands all within reach. Hopefully we can return.

Beautiful part of the country
Beautiful place for a stay, everthing you need is in the house, bright, spacious & clean. Beach nearby, we had wind & rain one day which played havock with the signal on the telly downstairs but the view across the bay from the large window in the living room upstairs distracts you from the telly in there. Loved it there. Highly recommended

Love it
Stayed for 3 nights from 9 October. Trip for my birthday with hubby, daughter and her fiance and 2 grandchildren. Excellent property, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Comfy beds, underfloor heating (bit too warm actually). Very peaceful site, about 3miles or so from Louisburg. Hope to stay again when in Co Mayo. Can highly recommend.

Fabulous property in beautiful, peaceful location
Ocean View is a very spacious property, the decor, furnishings and equipment were second to none. Everything was very clean the location and view were amazing.

Wonderful Spring Break
We enjoyed a week at this wonderful house. Very clean, with all the necessary facilities and more.
Isolated location with fantastic views of Clew Bay.
We were fortunate enough to see dolphins in the bay which was a real treat.
Can't wait to come back again.

Traumhaft!
Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter, ruhiger Lage mit Blick aufs Meer. Modern, sauber und geräumig. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr gut ausgestattet. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Louisburgh is a fab little town in Mayo on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. There are beautiful beaches in the area and lovely restaurants and coffee shops. There's plenty to do from cycling or walking to surfing or fishing.
Getting around
You really need a car or bike to explore this beautiful area. Car hire is readily available and not too expensive at Knock airport,

Under ten minutes drive from Louisburgh. The road is narrow in parts as we are round the side of a hill. Around half an hour from Westport town. Just over one hour to Ireland West Airport (Knock). Nearest train station is Westport. Plenty of private off road parking at the house.
