This was the second time that we stayed at Alan's place. Very clean and comfortable stay that fully met our needs. Great hosts available as needed. Cardigan is on the doorstep with easy access to this beautiful region of Wales. Thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

About the neighbourhood
The village has a local pub within walking distance (about 3/4 mile) which serves 'pub grub', a tea shop, and also the Coracle fish and chip shop, which is very highly regarded. St Dogmaels with its abbey ruins is well worth a visit. After a stroll on Poppit beach call in at the Ferry Inn. Once a major centre of commerce, historic Cardigan town is approximately 2 miles away and has a number of restaurants including a good Indian restaurant, as well as a fair number of pubs. Cardigan Castle is a local attraction having recently been renovated. Further afield are St Davids, one of the smallest cities, and Solva, both very well worth a visit. Local beaches include Mwnt and Poppit but there are also spectacular beaches such as Freshwater East
Getting around
This is a rural area with limited public transport but a bus which stops outside the drive entrance does run from Carmarthen to town and back. Taxis are available in Cardigan. There are a number of car parks, and parking is not generally a problem in this area.
