I won't lie; the location is what initially drew me to the place, the scenery is truly breathtaking on this part of the island and pictures can only show you so much. Although the pictures don't fully capture how beautiful our villa apartment was either! The pool was big enough for us and if it was being used the beach is so close that we went there instead (a lot, cause it's awesome!).
The food at the nearby tavernas and restaurants was delicious, and I'd encourage adventurous eating because there are some really nice traditional meals out there, but even the more regular seeming meals can surprise you with their high quality! Careful with the ouzo, though!
There was plenty to do on the island, all easily accessible from very close by; we spent most of our time on the beach but there was a water park, cruises, vehicle rentals and more that we could spend a day or two on if we wanted a change of pace.
The local people (especially the owners) are so friendly...
