The House provides a high comfort standard and as been thought as a base-haven to explore all the experiences Santa Maria has to offer. There are 3 bedrooms on the house (two with couple size beds and one with two single beds) allowing 6 adults. There is also a cradle for children up to 4 years old and an independent room equipped with a sofa bed allowing two adults. Fully refurbished from the its bare foundations, the House is equipped with all the features needed to be fully operational, including fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms and shower rooms, as well clothing care. Most of its furniture as been designed exclusively, including beds, tables, sofas, lamps and linen resulting on a unique feel when experiencing the stay. Outer spaces have teak furniture allowing the enjoyment of the sun, reading a book, while relaxing on the stillness of the surroundings. There is a large BBQ with a support work area to allow outer meals. All around the house, the gardens present the multitude of the Island native plants. There are kayaks, bicycles and snorkelling gear, as well as lead belts for scuba, as a support to some of the experiences one can have while in Santa Maria. Local operators will be able to provide you all the experiences that will remain as a high from your stay, namely, traditional shore pole fishing with a bamboo cane, sailing, windsurfing, boat trips, scuba diving, or experience fishing from a boat or underwater spear fishing. Santa Maria has several hiking trails and many geoplaces to be unveiled. Discover Santa Maria and embrace this unique land with all its experiences from the place we nurtured for your pleasure. Merveilleux voyage
Nous voulions dire à quel point nous avons été bien accueillis dans votre maison. La maison est sublime....propre...literie très confortable..salle de bains propres même avec des petits produits...le jardin est très beau. Nous avons été accueillis avec des fruits..du pain de la brioche..du miel...de quoi faire les petits dejeuners....( céréales lait jus de fruits) Nous avons beaucoup pris des locations pendant nos voyages.. mais la elle est de très belle qualité. C' est très appreciablz. De plus les hôtes sont très réactifs et agréables. Vraiment Santa Maria est un bijou.. Et pour couronner nous étions à 6 )mn en voiture de la superbe plage praia Formosa. Il y a eu vraiment de très belles attentions. Je ne mets pas souvent de commentaires mais la...vous le méritez. Nous ne voulions plus repartir...les enfants ont adoré. Perfect for anyone traveling with family
I was born in Santa Maria and celebrating 50 years since leaving my place of birth. Brought the entire family, including grandchildren the location is perfect. It's in the middle of the island, easy access to beaches, shopping anything that you want to do.view of the mountains and local farms is breathtaking.planning to return and would rent this place if available.

Casa muy acogedora con detalles muy cuidados.
Un gran alojamiento. Magnífico lugar para descansar. Camilo, el propietario, cuidó mucho cada detalle de nuestra estancia. La isla cuenta con muchos alicientes, todos muy cercanos. Desde bellas excursiones, pesca o playa Formosa, de aguas cristalinas, que está a pocos minutos. Recomendable en todos los aspectos.

Fantastic destination in a superb house
A escolha da ilha de Santa Maria revelou-se acertada para as nossas férias, e a Casa de Almagreira teve todos os ingredientes necessários para tornar esta nossa passagem ainda mais agradável. Achamos extremamente bem conseguida a forma como foram incorporados na casa elementos mais modernos que a tornam muito cómoda e funcional (cozinha bem equipada, WCs impecáveis,...) mantendo todos os traços típicos de arquitetura da ilha. Ideal para férias em família ou com alguns amigos. O facto de a casa disponibilizar os mantimentos necessários para as primeiras horas, facilita bastante a logística inicial (e é um detalhe fantástico que nunca encontramos de forma tão completa). A cereja em cima do bolo foi a forma exemplar como fomos recebidos pela Laurinda e Andreia, que tiveram por mais do que uma vez a preocupação de confirmar ao longo da estadia se estava tudo bem.

Génial
L'accueil, le service, la maison et l'ile de Santa Maria tout nous a séduit. L'accueil par Laurinda était très agréable. La maison est grande fonctionnelle très joliment décorée. Le service haut de gamme avec panier d'accueil et nettoyage parfait. Le propriétaire a beaucoup de gout et nous a rendu le séjour très confortable. La maison est bien située au centre de l'ile pas loin de la plage Praia Formoso magnifique. Il faut cependant bien prévoir une voiture pour se déplacer. Très jolies balades à faire.

Maison de standing et accueil irréprochable
Cette maison a été rénovée avec beaucoup de goût dans un style alliant modernité et tradition, et dispose de toutes les commodités, y compris serviettes de bain et de plage, grill externe, multiples grandes terrasses avec tables, chaises, chaises longues, wifi, lit-bébé et chaise haute. Sont également inclus tous les éléments pour le petit-déjeuner, livrés tous les deux jours, ainsi que le ménage une fois dans la semaine. Plus qu'une location, un vrai service hôtelier, en plus personnalisé. L'accueil était tout simplement fantastique: conseils avant le départ, accueil à l'aéroport et grande disponibilité sur place. On recommande chaudement.
