Traditional braais and potjies are available on request and can be enjoyed on the grassy plains while appreciating the beautiful African sunset. Guests can spend lazy afternoons relaxing beside the swimming pool while enjoying nature. Sundowner nature drives in our private game reserve provide exclusive game-viewing opportunities, while hiking trails are ideal for a chance encounter with a kudu or a giraffe. The lodge is the perfect base to explore the area from with Fish River Canyon, the Sossusvlei and the Kalahari just a drive away.

We spent two nights at Namseb Firstly can I say the staff were sweet & friendly..thank you for having us to stay, we are country folk so understand about remoteness & difficulty with services. Wifi is only available in the reception area that is fine, no problem . What was not fine were the maintenance & cleanliness issues..sadly both were lacking in the room we occupied. There are maintenance issues wherever you look! We ate all meals in the restaurant this was fine, drank nice cold beers at the bar also fine however we requested a cup of tea after dinner & were told there would be a cost REALLY after we stayed two nights & had all our meals with you??????.

From Windhoek Take the road B1 south through Rehoboth and Kalkrand to Marienthal. In Marienthal turn on C19 and continue to Maltahöhe. Continue straight along the main road when you enter Maltahöhe. At the crossroad right outside Maltahöhe follow the signs to the Namseb Lodge. After about 15km you pass the farmhouse. From here you continue another 2km before reaching the Lodge. From Solitaire/ Helmeringhausen Take the road C14 to Maltahöhe. When you reach the intersection to Maltahöhe (C19) you follow the signs to the Namseb Lodge. After about 15km you pass the farmhouse. From here you continue another 2km before reaching the Lodge.
