We had a great time having our friends up at this cottage to celebrate our wedding. There was plenty of space to make everyone comfortable, even with a big group. Kim was very responsive by text throughout our stay. The paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks were a great touch and made our days at the lake extra fun.

This is a wonderful house for large family gatherings. Unfortunately we rented this property for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and my Mom has limited mobility. We had counted on being able to drive her to the water while everyone else walked, but the driveway down to the water that is mentioned in the listing is in very rough shape with deep ruts, and the turnaround point involves a large rock where our vehicle bottomed out the only time we tried to drive. This meant that my parents weren't able to come to the water after the first day, which wasn't ideal since they were the main reason we rented the property. In any case, as I said, the house is a wonderful house, but if you have people staying with you that aren't able to make the 5-10 minute walk down to the water, you may have issues getting them there.

My new Wife and I hosted our wedding at the Whitestone Lakehouse in late July. Kim and Mark were extremely accommodating allowing us to set up trailers, move furniture, and redecorate. The Lakehouse and the waterfront made for a stunningly beautiful and fun wedding venue. All of our guest were blown away by the dock, and grand room in the cottage. Highly recommended for hosting events/weddings. We left a list of our vendors with Kim if you need any recommendations.

We try our best to visit here once a year. It’s amazing to the point that it brings out a negative point, its just always booked haha. Kim is also an amazing host. 10/10 would recommend

Myself, my fiancé and 18 our our closest friends rented this property for a combined bachelorette/bachelor celebration for 3 days. When we arrived we were all in awe. The property, the guesthouse, the lake… everything was perfect! The house is stunning! It was more than enough space for all of us and the bedroom set up is perfect.

Great house that was able to accommodate 16 adults and 2 kids. The view is amazing and had everything you need to entertain (pool table, table tennis, cinema room, board games, hot tub, sauna, water sports). If anything, we should've realized is that the water front is 5-10 minutes away from the main house which wasn't as accessible for our older parents so you will need to plan your day accordingly. Other than that great place to relax and unwind!

Thank you so much to Kim and Mark for sharing their absolutely beautiful cottage with us. The cottage has everything we could have ever needed… plus more! I asked my family to list some of their favourite things about the cottage and this is what we came up with; Loved that we could bring our dog with us. The dock set up and supplies for activities on the water. The variety of things to do and that everything was available to do each activity with. Loved all the extras, built in speakers, provided towels, kitchen supplies, books, games. Also enjoyed the quiet location of the hot tub. Beautiful location! Very spacious. Big and beautiful but still had that cozy cottage feel to it. The views are spectacular. The beds are cozy! The bathrooms are big and conveniently located. We had such a great time we were already looking at dates that would work for us to come back next year!

Very good communication with owners, well supplied kitchen, very spacious cottage with comfortable beds, lots of indoor and outdoor activities for kids of all ages and adults.

The property is absolutely perfect. Beautiful, spacious, functional, and easy to find. Mark and Kim were exceptional hosts; very quick to respond to messages, and incredibly accommodating in dealing with a few COVID-reschedules. Would absolutely recommend this property without hesitation - unless it's a weekend that I'd like to book again.
