Beautiful Tullagh Bay
Lovely House and the table was set up with all sorts of goodies on arrival which was lovley thank you. We travelled as an elderly couple one of us a wheelchair user, with our Daughter son in law and two grandchildren, they had a wonderful time on the beach despite the weather being awful for most of the 6 days we were there. The Veranda and hut set up at the beach are wonderful and well equipped, however we found it very difficult to get to it as it was much further away from the house than it seems on the bumph and impossible with a wheelchair but our daughter and her family enjoyed the walk to it most days. One other thing we didn't know until just before we went was that there is only one toilet actually inside the house and for 4 adults and two children this was a nightmare! there is a shower room and toilet outside the property in the garden on the way to the beach but much too far to keep using it in the evenings etc. The hosts were very pleasant people and very helpful. they were not in residence while we were there but had they been the entrance to their section is just outside the back door of the cottage, a little close for my liking. All in all we enjoyed our time in the area it is strikingly beautiful and I'm sure for younger families the house and its environs are ideal

Excellent
We had a fantastic week inTullagh. The house is spotless, comfortable and very well equipped. The beach is absolutely beautiful, we walked it everyday in all kinds of weather. The garden is great for younger children, plenty of outdoor toys to keep them occupied. It's in a great location to visit the many attractions inishowen has to offer. I would definitely return.

We have had the most fantastic week stay at this beautiful beach house. (2 adults and 2 children aged 5 and 1.5yrs)
We arrived to such a warm and generous welcome from Lorraine with treats laid out for the whole family (some chilled fizz, a yummy spread of tea and cakes and lots of treats for the kids including little bucket and spade sets).
The house itself is modern, immaculate and so obviously cared for. Everything was perfectly clean and fresh and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies that a lot of holiday rentals lack and had all the equipment you could possibly need for a long stay with the family.
The bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of wardrobe and drawer storage.
The living room has a large and very comfortable sofa poised perfectly to enjoy the smart TV all set up with Netflix as well as plenty of tv channels. There are a number of toy boxes also so our kids were delighted. It very much felt like a home from home.
What really makes this property one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in is it’s setting. The gardens are really well maintained and accommodate beautiful decking and entertainment areas so you can really enjoy the outdoors, fresh sea air, stunning views and the weather if you get it (we were blessed with many good days and evenings).
Lorraine and her husband Terrance have thought of everything to make sure you can enjoy the outdoors as much as possible with a garden hut at the deck by the beach to make tea/chill your drinks etc and of course there are plenty of taps and hoses to hose down those sandy feet!
For children there are swings, play house, football goals, basket ball hoops, bikes and ride-Ons to borrow, water tray, endless toys, buckets spades and even boogie boards to borrow for the sea.
And of course the there’s the beautiful Tullagh bay beach at the end of the garden for everyone to enjoy.
We can’t wait to visit again next year!

Brilliant beach house with a view
The beach house is located in the lovely village of Clonmany. The view out the front of the house is picturesque. We arrived during Easter to find the kitchen table set up with Easter goodies, a homemade apple tart and cupcakes! The house was spotless and comfortable. The towels were super soft, the living room was perfect for relaxing as a family, with a television which includes Netflix. The garden is well stocked with toys for younger children. The piece de resistance is the beach in the back garden. Tullagh Bay is truly beautiful! We were blessed with great weather. We visited the nearby Glenevin Waterfall Park, and Doagh Famine Village which was so interesting and around a 15 minutes drive away. There is also The Old Church At Straid nearby too. All in all we had a fantastic time. We highly recommend it!

A True Beach House
We have just returned from a week at the beach house. It is what it says on the tin ! A walk through the garden and your on the most gorgeous beach.we were greeted by Lorraine with a warm welcome (and cupcakes) she was so helpful and informative. The house was spotless and had every thing you would need. Both adults and kids while catered for, great Wi-Fi and smart tv with Netflix (great for cosy evenings in) plenty of toys for kids inside and outside of the house. The garden is a great space and the kids loved it, lots of toys to keep them happy. The decking area at the end of the garden is absolutely brilliant, great for sunbathing or just chilling with a book. Plenty to do in and around the area without having to travel too far. The beach house is a great place to stay, Lorraine and Terence are perfect hosts who go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect.you can see immediately that they love the place and what they have done with it is a credit.to them. We are hoping to book again soon as possible ! You need to go !!!

The beach house was warm, cozy and perfect for our 3 day stay.
When we arrived at the beach house we found fresh baked pastries and a chocolate cake, yum!. The house was simply lovely and it was just a few minute walk to the beach. The location was perfect for the 30 minute or so drive to Marlin Head. I am hoping to come back to Ireland and would definitely book the Beach House again.

Absolutely Gorgeous
We loved our stay at Beach House Tullagh. The house is absolutely gorgeous and Lorraine and Terence were perfect hosts - there when necessary but never intrusive.
There are several lovely additional touches such as the decking area ( complete with access to fridge and microwave) which overlooks the fantastic beach at Tullagh Bay. Unfortunately the weather was mixed during our stay and we only availed of this sun trap on two occasions. Although we would obviously have preferred some more sun there is something truly majestic about this rugged coastline when the breeze gets up and the elements are on full view. We took several drives around the Inishowen peninsula and were greeted with stunning view after stunning view. I did not bring my golf clubs on this trip but Ballyliffin Golf Club ( recent host to the Irish Open)is no more than a 10 minute drive from the property and looks a magnificent links. If we get the opportunity again we would return to Beach House in a heartbeat.

About the neighbourhood
This house is located just outside the beautiful town of Clonmany. The jewel of Clonmany "The Market House" is to be found in the centre of the village. Just outside Clonmany, the ruins of Leenan Fort document the days of yore. And the old Straid Church is to be found just two miles outside the village. A trip to the nearby Famine Village in Doagh Island provides the visitor with accounts of the past in an active form. Golfing plays a large role in the list of leisure activities.
The Ballyliffin Golf Club hosts two eighteen hole links courses and is often frequented by the rich and famous, including the world reowned golfer Nick Faldo. The famous Mamore Gap is a mere 5 minute drive from the house. Mamore Gap in the Urris Hills takes the traveller on a long, winding path to spectacular panoramic views of both the Inishowen peninsula and the neighbouring Fanad peninsula. The Glenevin waterfall is within walking distance, after exploring this spectacular area of natural beauty, stop for a refreshing cup of tea and scones, or a hearty lunch/dinner, in the beautiful surroundings of the Glen House. Experience the warm Irish welcome, extended to locals and travellers alike, by the proprietor Sonia. Or else walk on for another 2 mile to the award winning Rusty Nail bar and restaurant. Ample beaches, including Binnon bay, Tullagh bay, Leenan bay, and Pollan bay are all seated in spectacular panoramic views of both the Inishowen peninsula and the neighbouring Fanad peninsula as does the little known Glenevin waterfall.
The famous Clonmany festival takes place between Sunday the 4th to the 11th of August,
