Holiday Rental House -
3 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 8
Grealou, Lot, Occitanie
This is the real 'France profonde'! 'Les Pégouriés' is an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful Lot and Célé valleys, where the rivers cut deep into the limestone, creating beautiful and dramatic scenery. Villages cling to the cliffs, and traditional farms still flourish, with their fields of tobacco, maize and sunflowers. The history and way of life of former generations are evident in all you see, from the cave paintings of Peche Merle, the nearby picturesque village of St Cirq-la-Popie, the chateaux and the ancient places of worship, to the simple hamlets and villages, the rolling cultivated land and the wild landscapes beyond.

There is something for everyone here:- beautiful countryside, abundant wildlife, a wealth of history and rural tradition and, of course, excellent food and wines.
