Inside this EcoPod in Devon, you will be greeted with gorgeous modern interiors. Just because our EcoPod is compact doesn’t mean you have to compromise on pure luxury. A contemporary German kitchen allows you to enjoy all of your favourite meals. Fitted out with a fridge, gas hob and electric fan oven you can enjoy the all of the comforts of home. The bathroom comes complete with a powerful gas fired shower for those relaxing soaks, toilet and sink combo to maximise on space and a large towel radiator. If that doesn’t warm your soul we even have underfloor heating throughout. From the dining area you can gaze out onto the generous sized private lawn. Large bi-fold doors open to a decked entrance and a picnic bench complete with large parasol and your own private hot tub with mood lighting. Here you can sit and relax while browsing the Internet via our free WIFI or make use of the Webber gas barbi if you fancy going back to basics. Complete with a sofa bed why not have a lie down in the 3D SNUG and watch a movie on our enormous 50 inch Smart 3D HDTV complete with 3D glasses and a selection of movies! We also provide a PS4 games console if that wasn’t enough.

INSIDE SUNRIDGE ECOPOD:
The interior is gorgeously modern.
The bathroom boasts a gas fired power shower for the ultimate indulgent soak. The contemporary German kitchen is the icing on the cake. The compact dining/lounge area (complete with sofa bed and a huge 50 inch Smart 3D HDTV with Freeview) looks out onto an expansive half acre lawn with wooded hedge rows. Bi-folding doors open onto a decked entrance and a large picnic table with 3 meter parasol & gas fired Webber barbi. We also have outside lighting complete with remote control colour changing LED’s to suit your mood.
Free WIFI means you can hook up to the modern world from anywhere in the Devon EcoPod and immediate lawned area. Or you might wish to just sit down in the garden space or private hot tub and watch the wildlife in abundance. Underfloor heating throughout the interior will keep you warm wherever you are and whatever time of year you wish to visit.
The 50 inch Smart enabled 3D HDTV serves as a small CINEMA SNUG, and if you’d rather play games than watch movies, just grab the Playstation 4 console and get stuck in. Mind you, this UK based EcoPod affords a stunning view of the garden so you might want to just flop about on the sofa bed and stare at the countryside.
OUTSIDE SUNRIDGE ECOPOD:
To say you won't have any neighbours is not strictly true because outside the EcoPod is teeming with wildlife, birds and badgers, foxes and squirrels - this is their home too remember! The wooded hedge rows are the perfect retreat from the overhead sun if thats not for you. Why not sit in comfort and tranquility while you work away on your laptop and enjoy all that nature has to offer…

We don't provide bedding due to rapid changeovers. Guests must bring their own towels and bedding for the double sofa bed. This should include base sheet, duvet and pillows/covers etc. A good tip is to bring an additional duvet for an extra layer of comfort too to lie on. We do also provide an additional foam topper under the sofa bed.
Upon on our arrival, we were mesmerized by the stunning views and peaceful area. A warm welcoming accommodation was perfect after a long drive. Eco pod was an ideal place which filled our relaxing needs. The owner Damian was a fantastic host. He went the extra mile or few to make sure we were extremely looked after. Thank you so much for everything and definitely see you next year.

Idilic relaxing retreat
Perfect location for anyone looking to escape for a relaxing break. The scenary is beautiful. Absolutely loved the jacuzzi!

SURROUNDING SUNRIDGE ECOPOD:
The South Hams is England's most outstanding area of beauty and you could be in the heart of it!
Minutes away from the EcoPod, you will come across beaches to die for. In winter, spring or summer, many beaches remain deserted and unspoilt and are so beautiful, they are often used for film sets. Mothercombe Beach, just five minutes away from Sunridge, was used as a location for Jane Austen's Sense and Sensibility, as was nearby Saltram House, a huge Georgian period property, once the largest country seat in Devon. On your doorstep there are miles and miles of country trails along the River Erme and the dramatic south west coast path offers scenery that is literally breathtaking.

Location
From London, take the M4, then M5 to Exeter. Continue onto the A38 leaving at the
junction to Ugborough & Ermington. Follow signs for the A379 to Yealmpton. One mile
before Yealmpton turn right at Dunstone Cross and travel 1 mile to us.
From the North, take the M5 to Bristol and continue on the M5 until the A38 in Devon. Then follow directions as above.
From the South West, drive to Plymouth, take the A379 to Kingsbridge and head towards
Elburton/Brixton/Yealmpton. 1 mile after Yealmpton turn left at Dunstone cross and travel
1 mile to us.
Look out for a house that looks like a bungalow. Once you are here you will notice that literally next to the house is a narrow lane/track with a sign - 'Sunridge Retreats'. Start going down that track (only 50 metres) and turn immediately left into the iron gate. Again look for 'Sunridge Retreats' signage.
Follow the lane with the big field and horses to your right, and before you get to Sunridge Lodge, make a left turn adjacent to the bamboo plants marked ‘EcoPod & Cubes'. The Pod parking area is tucked into the hedge (on left) just before (not after) the wood clad grey staff store on the chipping's. This enables other cars to exit staying in the CUBES.
The Pod is located down some steps through a wooded hedge onto its own lawn area.
There is no requirement to ‘check in’ on arrival. We run on a 'just turn up' basis. Keys in key safe so please ask for code near the time of arrival.
