The Cottage is situated in a beautiful unspoilt medieval Cotswold non working Farm,complete with many of its original buildings,including a Dovecote. It has been recently converted from Cartsheds to the highest specification and include original exposed beams and oak flooring. This enchanting Farm has hardly changed in 400 years. Set in the Heart of the beautiful Cotswold Village of Nympsfield the cottage is 2 minutes walk of the Rose & crown,Coaley Peak escarpment View Point,giving spectacular views over the Berkeley Vale & River Severn to the Forest of Dean and the Brecon Beacons beyond.

Lovely accommodation with everything you need. Very peaceful location and near to local places of interest for the southern end of the Cotswolds- Westonbirt Arboretum, Woodchester Park, Cirencester.

WE were not on holiday, but needed to be in the area for a few days. It made an excellent base with all the amenities that one would require with the added bonus of being part of a lovely, characterful old barn.

Nympsfield is on The Cotswold Way walking route, as well as many other paths. Cycling routes part of the National Cycle Network, or many off road tracks and trails.The Cotswold Water Park has many Sporting and Leisure activities to offer from Kayaking to Wake boarding to simply paddling. The local Gliding Club is 5 mins along the lane, introductory flights are available or more extreme paragliding is done from the viewpoint at Coaley Peak.
Golf- this area is a golfers paradise with 7 golf courses to choose from within 15mins drive.
Interesting Events: The Severn Bore, Cheltenham Gold Cup, Giffords Circus,on tourin the County during May to Sept,Bristol Balloon FiestaTall Ships,Badminton Horse Trials,Westonbirt Arboretum Festival of Wood, and Autumn Colours.

Nympsfield is ideally located for visiting Gloucester 12 miles with its Cathedral and Docks, Cirencester 12 miles a Market town, Cheltenham 15 miles for shopping, Bristol 20 miles for the SS Great Britain and the Harbourside, The Science Centre ( suitable for children of all ages) The Zoo and Clifton Suspension Bridge. Bath 21 miles for the Roman Baths, Abbey and its famous Crescents. Oxford 40 miles for its Spires, Colleges and Morse.
