Follow the interior stairs to the top and you will be in the tower sitting room and a truly breathtaking 360 degree view... a wonderfully private area after a day on the beach.
There is a community pool and clubhouse for you to enjoy while vacationing at 102 N. Permuda Wynd. This is a lovely home that offers something special for everyone.
The community pool open and close dates are determined by the Homeowners Association only and may vary from year to year.

We absolutely loved this home. It has direct beach access via a private walkway. Access to a community pool that is right beside this property. The home was very nice and accommodated our family nicely. We highly recommend this home. We loved it so much we have already booked it for the same week next year!!

Great week at the beach
Just returned from a fabulous week at this outstanding beach house - we had four generations under one roof and it was perfect. The great-grandparents appreciated the elevator, my daughter-in-law was able to set up a fold up table in the tower room and work remotely in a “room with a view” and the rest of us just had a good time.
It was so helpful to have two refrigerators and we were very impressed with all the appliances that were provided - a large Ninja blender, an electric kettle, two coffee makers (we only used one), a Cuisinart food processor, a Lodge cast iron Dutch oven, etc. The pots and pans were all good quality, as were the plentiful drinking glasses and silverware - we found everything we needed (did all our own cooking, due to the coronavirus).
The dining room table seated ten comfortably.
We unfortunately only discovered on the very last day that there was a good supply of water bottles for the water machine - they were under the house along with umbrellas and beach chairs - wished we had investigated a bit further when we arrived!
The beds were comfortable, mattress protectors were provided, and everything was in good condition.
The two queen bedrooms upstairs share a Jack and Jill bathroom. The King bedroom is not en-suite, but there is another bathroom on that level, so that wasn’t a problem. It was lovely having every bedroom opening onto a deck.
We had an issue with the main level air-conditioning when we arrived on Saturday, but called the emergency number on Sunday morning and a man was there to repair it before lunch and we had no more trouble.
All in all, a great stay - we hope to go back!

Our favorite
Our 3 families thoroughly enjoy staying at this beach house. Room to spread out, fabulous views, great proximity to the ocean (private walkway/steps),great proximity to the pool, elevator, 2 refrigerators (one for drinks and one for food), Really everything we needed and more. My 5 year old granddaughter took ownership of the tower room which she called the "castle room". She said she had the best view in the house and it was perfect for her own "private"bedroom. Even though this year was different than previous years due to Covid, we felt totally safe in this house and on the uncrowded beach and pool. The only drawback is that the parking area is a little tight and hard to maneuver cars. But, that's a small thing to worry about as we don't go in and out frequently. We love Hyacinth and The Village of Stump Sound. Our hold deposit for next year has already been paid. We will be back!

Wonderful vacation rental
This house was wonderful for our 4 families to spend a week together on the beach. We chose it because of the location and amenities. The house is beautiful, and we enjoyed the views from sun up to sun down. All of the rooms have outside decks and this was a wonderful treat. We rented a propane grill to use and were a little disappointed as it was smaller than we anticipated so we had to spend more time grilling for our large group since we had to split the meats up to fit the grill size (estimated 225 sq inches grilling space). We appreciated the bottled water dispenser as we prefer it over tap. There were more replacement water bottles on site, if you needed them. The kitchen was great. There was plenty of storage for our groceries. Having two refrigerators was ideal and although we didn’t need them, there were also two coffee machines. There was also a hot kettle for heating water for tea. There were plenty of dishes and pots and pans to use for all our cooking/serving needs. We had stayed on the island previously and there was only one time the trash was picked up, but this time there were two pick ups which helped us manage trash. We loved and used the pool as it was so convenient right next door. We also chose the house because of the crib and high chair included, it was so helpful not to have to rent additional items for the baby. There were plenty of deck chairs on both the upper and lower decks. We liked the white board for messages since we had a large group and the elevator was necessary as there are several floors. We looked for the guest book, but didn’t find it to leave a note for the owners. If we go back in the future, we would love to stay here again!

Beautiful Beach House
Our extended family has been vacationing at Topsail for several years. We probably needed one more bedroom than this house has for our 4 families, but the house itself was the nicest and cleanest home we have stayed in! Even the garage floor was clean! The pictures did not do it justice!
There were a few furniture updates since the photos were taken including a great cubby shelf in the living room that was nice to store snacks and things for the kids that were separate from the kitchen. It was easy to organize and helped keep down some foot traffic in the kitchen.
The decor was beautiful and there were many "extras" that we were not expecting, but were so nice to have! There were even fresh flowers on the dining table waiting for us when we arrived! They have a water delivery service which helped us cut down on bottled water trash as we don't care for the taste of topsail tap water. That was such a thoughtful touch! The house was also well stocked with soap, detergent, spices, garbage bags, etc, even a nice supply of sunscreen! All things that we would normally have to make an immediate grocery run for. We tried to restock what we used, but it was nice not having to rush out and get those things. I normally pack a few nice skillets since the dishes normally supplied in rental homes leave a bit to be desired. Not the case with this house!! All quality pots, pans, knives and more beautiful dishes than we could have possibly needed. There was even a cuisnart! We usually have to rent a second refrigerator for the week and usually the only place to put it is in the garage. It was so nice to have 2 refrigerators built right into the kitchen and have it all in one place.
We were a little nervous when we realized that there were no tv's in the bedrooms, but I really don't think anyone even missed it!
The elevator was also nice! Carrying heavy coolers and large suitcases can be such a chore! It was nice to be able to load it all on the elevator and pull things off on the floor it was needed.
We did have an issue with toilet off the dining room. It would work just fine and then every 5 or 6 uses, it would not flush properly. No #2 in it, just a bit of toilet tissue. The rental company tried to tell us that we must have plugged it, even suggesting that one of the kids flushed something down it (which was crazy as our kids were all older) and told us they would send a plummer out, but that it would be a claim against our insurance or at our expense. But they talked to the homeowners and the homeowner paid to have a plummer come out. The toilet did not act up when he was there and started again about an hour after he left. It was strange. It would work just fine, have about an hour that it wouldn't flush and then it would be just fine again. Anyway....we were pleased that the homeowner tried to fix it and that we didn't have to worry about the expense when we didn't do anything to cause it.
Like I said, the house was immaculately clean when we arrived and we enjoyed the house very much. The only suggestion that we had wished it had was a grill. Other than that, it was much better than we expected, was quite comfortable, great location, plenty of deck furniture and just a lovely home.

Not the best beach house ever.
We had plenty enough room in the house to sleep for our extended family. The kitchen was so well stocked that we did not have enough room to put away our groceries. There was no grill on the premise. You either had to rent or buy a grill. There were only 3 TV's in the house with Direct TV that went out when it rained. There were not any TV's in the bedrooms if you wanted to get away from everyone to watch your show. The house has a black mold problem. It grew worse and worse as the week went on. Several of us were sensitive to mold and got sick. The WiFi was available but no matter how many times we reset the box we could not stay connected.

Wow, it sounds like you had a terrible time. We are so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. I am so surprised because this house (Hyacinth) is always in high demand with renters. Many of the people come back year after year. We have seen absolutely no evidence of any black mold in this house and have never had any complaints of such. We do know that during your stay there was reported a small amount of mold under the toilet rim but it should have not been anything that would get someone sick considering this house is over 2000 square feet in size. We will forward your concerns to the owner about the TV's and WiFi and see if they will consider putting in more TV's for future guests. Best Beach House EVER!
This house couldn't be more perfect, inside & out. It was a wonderful splurge to be oceanfront for the first time and we had a perfect week celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with all our chicks in the nest.
If I had to make a suggestion, it would just be to request one or two comfy reading chairs, but really, the house was great. Loved the two side by side refrigerators in the kitchen. Nothing was lacking. Went out twice to eat and had great meals at Sears Landing and Daddy Mac's.
