Hendafarn is a lovely beachside cottage in the picturesque village of Nefyn on the Llyn Peninsular in North Wales..

Originally a fishermans cottage and once a beachside tavern Hendafarn is over 300 years sold. The cottage is situated directly on Nefyn beach sheltered beneath the western headland. Whilst vehicle access is possible at only certain states of the tide, it offers the perfect getaway whilst in reach of local amenities. Ideal for those wishing to explore the magnificent cliff walks of the Llyn Peninsular now maintained by the National Trust. For golfers there is a championship course at Morfa Nefyn only two miles from Nefyn. Just got back from a weeks stay, not sure where to start as had an amazing time. The photos on here do not do Nefyn beach justice as when the tide is out it is huge and the cottage is actually right on the beach...More

About the neighbourhood
The Llyn Peninsular is a beautful place to visit. Hedgerows full of flowers in the Spring and summer. For those people interested in history there are casltes at Caernarvon and Criccieth with Harlech a short distance further away. The Isle of Anglesy is also within reach with a castle at Beaumaris. Nefyn has a martime history with a local Museum showing the shipbuilding and fishing fleet past of the village.
