Snowdrop cottage is a purpose built cottage in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of the Kent countryside. It is within 6 miles of the famous Leeds castle, and within easy reach of Ashford with a high speed connection to London or the Euro Star. Snowdrop cottage is situated at the top of the Kent downs just above the historic village of Lenham. The cottage is comprised of two very large bedrooms with beds that can either be set for a super king size double bed, or two single beds. Both bedrooms have a large en-suite bathroom with toilet, shower, bath and basin. The main living area is a large light open plan space with kitchen, dining table, and seating area with sofa's and TV. This spacious area is beautifully decorated, relaxing and comfortable. It is a beautiful and quiet rural location with horses and other livestock nearby, therefore this cottage is not suitable for loud gatherings or large parties. Children are very welcome but must be supervised at all times as this is a working farm.

Fabulous location

About the neighbourhood
Lenham is a historic market village in Kent situated on the southern edge of the North Downs, halfway between Ashford and Maidstone. There are a number of local public houses and restaurants within the local area. The city of Canterbury is within easy reach (12 miles) with a beautiful city center, shopping facilities and cathedral. Ashford benefits from having an international station with high speed connection to London as well as the MacArthur Glen Shopping Outlet. There are numerous coastal towns within half an hour including Whitstable where you can enjoy the locally grown oysters at the Whitstable Oyster House.
Getting around
Ashford which is 8 miles away has a high speed rail link direct to London Kings Cross. The Eurostar also stops in Ashford for easy access to the continent. The M20 motorway is within easy reach 6 miles away and the A20 is a mile and half. There is a bus route on the A20 that goes to Ashford, Maidstone or Canterbury. Local train stations are 3 miles away at Lenham and Charing.
