Situated in the centre of this historic and very picturesque fishing village of Appledore,renowned for its tidal estuary setting,brightly painted cottages,maritime links and annual book festival. Enjoy a walk along one of the village's quaint streets or the bustle of the quayside when the fish are landed. Take a short drive over the river to Instow with its sandy beach and the Royal North Devon Yacht Club for boating and sailing enthusiasts. Westward Ho! with its 2 miles of beach,the Royal North Devon Golf Club as well as many family amusements. Close by is The Big Sheep and The Milky Way Adventure Parks,Tapeley Park,Arlington House and Watermouth Castle. As you enter the property you are greeted by a stylish open-plan kitchen/diner with underfloor heating,which takes up the whole ground... The kitchen area is fully-equipped with electric oven and hob,microwave combi-oven,fridge/freezer,washer/dryer and dishwasher. You will also find a WC on this floor. As you proceed up the staircase to the first floor you there is a large bathroom with a small step,this spacious bathroom has a spa bath,separate shower and WC. The two bedrooms are one king-size with estuary views with an en-suite shower room with WC and one double. Head up the second staircase to the second floor and you will enter the light and airy lounge with superb views of the estuary and quayside,comfy leather sofas,TV/DVD,and a useful area which is ideal for making tea/coffee and light snacks,it is a relaxing place to sit and plan your next day's adventures. The door from kitchen/diner leads out to a shared patio area with seating and BBQ. Roadside parking is subject to availability or you can park in the large car park on the quay where a weekly ticket can be purchased. More
