Panjim city is 5 km away. One can walk to Dona Paula/ Caranzalem beach or take a drive to Miramar Beach 2 km away.
There are number of restaurant around from were one can order food or walk to the place.

About the neighbourhood
Dona Paula is mix of residential and commercial activity. The bungalow is situated in a very quite surrounding. There are plenty of restaurants serving different types of food. A walk down to the jetty will give one view of the Mormugao Port on the South side of Goa and spectacular Arabian sea from the high point of the jetty. One can also enjoy water sports from this point. The area is surrounded by a tiny fishing community.
Getting around
one can use public transport which is cheap but time consuming
hire a self drive two wheeler / 4 wheeler or a taxi
