A superb detached two storey house converted from a traditional farm building to an exceptionally high standard and located on Airdrie Farm near to the farmhouse but in a private and secluded position with its own enclosed garden with wheelchair access to both the front and rear entrances. Furnished and equipped to a very high standard the house provides superb accommodation in this wonderful area. There are uninterrupted views down across the farm over the Solway to the Lakeland Hills both from the building and the garden which is enclosed with furniture and a hot tub. Within a short drive are wonderful sandy beaches at Sandyhills and, slightly further afield at Rockcliffe. The RSPB Reserve at Mersehead which also has its own beach is within a ten minute drive. New Abbey, again within a short drive, is a delightful village where Sweetheart Abbey is located and there is also the historic Corn Mill open to the public on a seasonal basis. Great family holiday.
We have just returned from a week long stay. It was perfect, second to none. The house is completed to a very high standard, and has more than enough space for a family (4 adults and 3 children) and we weren't over crowded. The house has everything you would need and the views are to die for, a perfect home from home. There were toys available for the kids, and more than enough space to allow them to roam (goats and others animals were a huge bonus too). The hot tub was a great added bonus and was used everyday. Lots of activities for the kids within a 30 min car journey. (mabie Farm, 7stanes cycle routes, the Cocoabean chocolate factory). The host couldn't be more accomadating to us. We really hope to visit again soon. And thank you to the host for allowing us to create such magical memories as a family 😊

Lovely property, surroundings and host.
A really nice house, well equipped, in a secluded position with great views. Quite a few local places to keep kids occupied, good beaches close by and outstanding scenery. Would definitely visit again.

Stunning cottage
An amazing stay we are just back from a great weekend away, the accommodation could not be any better three generous sized bedrooms, one with en suite the other two both have a bathroom next door. A generous kitchen with dining room and a living room with log fire down stairs and an additional cosy sitting room upstairs with a stunning view and who could forget the hot tub outside. The kids loved feeding the goats every day, the adults loved the fresh eggs for breakfast. We are looking forward to returning as soon as possible

Fab cottage and owners were lovely people
Stayed here last september for 3 nights with family and 2 young kids. Omg what a stunning cottage and hot tub was a big bonus kids loved the animals and the views were breathtaking would return in a heartbeat
