The Kitchen The small galley kitchen, is well equipped with oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, blender, and all utensils. There is a washing machine and a dryer machine in the outdoor shed. The Living Room The living room is a modern airy and light space. A sociable space with wifi, TV, DVD’s, books, games and a dining area. Plenty of room for 4 people to be doing 4 different things! The bedrooms The double bedroom is comfortably furnished in a gentle and warm coffee shade design from Next. There is a hair dryer, a choice of lighting, plenty of drawers and wardrobe space. The twin room is styled in fresh green and white designs. It makes a good size single room. The matresses are high quality. The pull out bed can be made up into a double which takes up most of the floor space, or can be positioned as two singles with a narrow gap between. Quality towels and bed linen are provided. The Staircase The stairs are narrow but the bannister railings provide support. Young children may need supervision. The Bathroom A heritage style bathroom suite has a separate shower and heated towel rail. The bathroom is blue and white reflecting high standards of cleanliness. A cot, high chair, child pack carrier are available on request. Be aware: the stairs are quite steep as in a period house, parking is roadside (at the front or just round the corner), the opposite side of the street overlooks some industrial heritage! The single room plus one is small. I’m being honest here, I’d hate any guest to be disappointed. Our desire and aim is to provide a base for a perfect holiday. We strive hard to achieve this. ‘Croeso’, we welcome families, couples, friends from the UK and wider world. A warm welcome awaits…..More

Our 2-bedroom cottage in Llanidloes exceeded our expectations. Furnished and decorated to a high standard, it was also spacious and there is a lovely little garden to sit in at the back. Lisa, the owner, left a welcome pint of milk, teabags, wine and biscuits...More

Thank Inspiration674930

About the neighbourhood
Oodles of walks - beech woodland for evening strolls in Tan Yr Allt above the house. Two minutes to cross the bridge over the River Severn into town. Lovely cafes - the Great Oak is my favourite. Friendly pubs - 8 to choose from, ales and folk music are regular features. Stunning drives and walking around the Clywedog Reservoir and Elan Valley. Walk to the source of the Severn; cycle on several off road routes; watch osprey and red kites; 45 miutes to the coast - you will not be bored here.
How to get there
National Express coaches stop here once a day. The nearest train station is 6 miles away at Caersws. I will always provide guests a lift if needed to and from the station.
