About the neighbourhood
Irby in the marsh is a small rural village in East Lindsey, Lincolnshire. Irby's small Grade II* listed Anglican parish church is dedicated to All Saints,[1] and seats approximately 95 people. Medieval in origin, it is constructed in green stone and brick, and was re-detailed in 1770, with a new chancel added in 1886. The village is surrounded by farm land and ideal for walking, cycling. Near by there a number of fishing lakes and local attractions such as the heavy horse centre. Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre. The Centre is home to Lancaster NX611 and a museum based on a WWII airfield with original control tower, Escape Society museum, Home Front exhibition, Hampden restoration project, memorial chapel and many memorabilia exhibitions. The Centre is open Mon-Sat. Closed Sundays. D...
Getting around
The village does not have public transport so a car is advisable, however why not bring your bike or walking boots. Lots of open flat space to enjoy.
