About the neighbourhood
Little Terraces is within easy walking distance of the shops, pubs and cafes in Downton, the latter serving excellent food. Riverside or country walks can be taken directly from the door. The area is well known for its superb fishing venues. Just a 5 minute drive and you are in the New Forest National Park with its free roaming ponies, cattle, deer and pigs. Spring is a burst of fresh green growth and new born animals. 6 miles away in the medieval city of Salisbury is the beautifu...
Getting around
Downton is well served by buses, both locally and to Ringwood and Bournemouth in the south and Salisbury in the north. There are lots of lovely local walks and the Forest is just 5 minutes in the car or a short cycle ride.
