This comfortable and peaceful rural retreat is only seven miles inland from the coast, so you can still dip your toes in the sea when you feel the need! An '80s house, Egret is light, airy and furnished throughout in a jaunty nautical theme with driftwood featuring both inside and out - so there's always a reminder that you are not too far from the sea. On the ground floor there is an intimate sitting room that leads through glazed doors into a spacious open-plan, airy and sunny L-shaped dining kitchen featuring a central island and french doors to the garden. In a cosy corner is a vaulted 'garden room' where additional french doors lead to the garden. The kitchen has an adjoining utility room, and off the hallway there's a cloaks/shower room. Up the stairs you will find four attractive bedrooms (three super-king zip-and-link and one double) and two further bathrooms, one of which is en-suite. At the rear of the house is a large enclosed dog-proof garden (it will defeat even the most determined of canine escape artists!), with a shingled patio and raised lawn. To the side of the house is parking for up to three cars on a shared driveway.More
