This is a 3 bed roomed bungalow located in Bamburi Estate, Mombasa, Kenya. It is in a gated estate with own compound and 24hrs security. It has a small beautiful outdoor garden that lets you relax as you enjoy the wonderful Kenyan coast breeze. It is also in close proximity to major shopping malls, popular north coast beaches and popular entertainment joints. It is ideal for families, or a group of friends.

Worth Every Penny

Just come from spending 3 nights at Barizi Cottage. It was excellent value for money - felt like home! I look forward to staying there again. * The cottage has good Wifi and DSTV. * It is very clean, situated in a secure quiet place. * The garden is lovely, * The bedrooms, bedding and beds are comfortable - and CLEAN. * The ACs and fans also make it comfortable despite the current hot Mombasa weather * I loved the open plan, spacey kitchen that had all necessary appliances and utensils. * Caroline is a wonderful hostess that ensures you're well taken care of without being in your space. Warida is a lovely house keeper too. Over all - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Unforgettable stay

I booked this lovely cottage for 2 weeks and ended up extending for an extra week. We were 5 adult and 2 children and the places was really clean with a big spaces. The garden was beautiful and my mother and children love it. Caroline was a lovely host and Wahida was exceptional with her guest. The place was safe and secure and my children's enjoy playing with the neighbour kids. There was 2 gate keepers Barak and Laurence and I am still in contact with them. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a good time and certainly I am planning already to go back myself. Thanks again Caroline and Wahida and your effort is deeply appreciated. Enjoy the pics peps

Cosy home away from home

The serene, secure, peaceful and clean environment at Barizi made our stay in Mombasa, really comfortable. Security Locks, spacious lounge with comfortable furniture, comfy big beds in spacious bed rooms, master en suit,the Acs,spacious and clean washrooms, an open kitchen, a beautiful,private leisure yard made our evenings awesome to relax as we interacted. Water availability,electricity power, internet and Dstv connection was never a disappointment. Barizi is simply the holiday home to be anytym and Carol a great host.

Beautiful, Quiet, Comfortable Home Away from Home

Beautiful Cottage, I love that the AC and fans in every room keep it nice and cool. The fact that you are left to manage yourself made it soo freeing and relaxing. It is also very affordable, pocket friendly which allows me to manage my other expenses.I love it! A family or a group of friends can definitely have so much fun in the house. We were a group of 8 friends who had traveled for a friends wedding and the cottage worked superbly well for us. The three bedrooms are large, one is en suite (great), the kitchen is open and the living room large for everyone to interact. The internet worked great and they have DSTV which was great for movies and international news followup.

A cosy home away from home!

Barizi is a great value for money, a home away from home! Set in a quiet environment on a private compound with a green outdoors gazebo, the 3 bedroom bungalow is just what a family or a group of friends would need for an affordable and relaxing holiday. The cleanliness and security is top standard. The sitting room is very spacious with comfy chairs, All the bedrooms have AC, a fully furnished and spacious kitchen and free Wi-Fi! It is also a walking distance to a major supermarket and bank and not far from the beach. The host Carol is a very friendly lady who will ensure you have a memorable stay. Looking forward to another Barizi experience!

Wonderful

I wud recomend this property to anybody wishing for a home from home holliday its spacious-fully equiped clean and we,l looked after wot you see is wot you get so often have i seen great pics of propertys only to be let down on arrival not here it has a nice garden and seating area its very secure the owner and house keeper ar accomadating and aproachable all in all we had a wonderful month the property would benafit with the addition of 4-6 high stools to make a breakfast counter style dining area but the lounge is very spacious its away from the main holiday drag area so you get peace and relaxation not continualy disturbed by hawkers ive started saving up allready for my next trip i know ille be staying in a clean spacious well equiped bungalow with peace of mind do you?

Absolutely brilliant home away from home!

Located in an estate which means, should you choose, you get to experience indigenous Kenya on your way to the shops, malls or the glorious beaches (many in Kenya). The actual cottage is spacious, kitted out, very clean and secure. The owner, Caroline, is extremely welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend - already looking forward to our next stay.

Mijn verblijf hier was super. leuke woning goed verzorgt, vriendelijke mensen hier. Eigen beveiliging bij de poort. buiten de poort alles bij de hand. supermarkt, bank met atm. en allerlei winkeltjes en barretjes. Ook op een korte afstand leuke winkelcentrum.

Lovely place with a lot of space

This fantastic bungalow is a very lovely place to spend your holidays. U always have contact to the owner or cleaner and keeper of the house. Its in an small estate with 24 hours security. The house has a watertank if the normal water should not flow in case of environment problems. U have a lot of shops near to the house and even a supermarket(Nakumatt). Hospitals and pharmacies are also around. The house is full furnished. And u get always fresh bedsheet and towels. There is a big flat TV and hifi equipment. The house has no aircondition but ventilators in every room. Next to the supermaket is also a bank with cashpoints and even western Union. The best transport there is the tuktuk wich brings u fast and cheap to all places like the city mall or even airport. In the city mall are very much shops and a bigger supermarket. The best changing rate for money is in the city mall there in the casino. And there are also more cashpoints. Just a fantastic place to spend your holidays at a very quiete place. Its also not far to the beach.

Wonderful place where everyone should visit

Stayed at this holiday home for 7 nights during my visit to Mombasa and I must say the place is fantastic. The rooms are perfect with large comfy beds and always clean, beautiful living room with nice furniture and a fully equipped kitchen. There was also an outdoor garden that was beautiful. The location is also very secure and very close to the beach and shopping malls. I would recommend anyone to visit the place since it provides value for your money.
