The villa is located on the outskirts of Calasparra, a delightful traditional Spanish town situated in rural Murcia and famous for its rice and stunning scenery. Activities in the area include white water rafting, horse-riding, paintballing, mountain climbing, cycling, fishing, shooting, caving and go-karting. Golf courses and sandy beaches are about an hours drive away.
The villa has a large private pool (8m x 4m) which is regularly cleaned and maintained. The rooftop solarium overlooks the surrounding pine forest with views of the nearby mountains. There is a large area for parking off road within the gated grounds.
Ideal for a relaxing family holiday!

The villa is only a few years old and furnished in a contemporary style with comfortable high quality furniture.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave.
An iron and ironing board is provided.
Satellite TV offers all British channels and more plus a variety of radio stations
Air conditioning has recently been installed and there is central heating for the winter months.
There are 2 large sofas, a dining table and chairs as well as sunloungers and a patio table for outdoors.

Guests are reminded, for maximum effect, to keep windows and doors closed when the air conditioning is on!

A 50 euro refundable key deposit is required on arrival.

When booking in advance, 20% of total price is required 6 weeks prior to arriving to confirm your booking.

NB. Due to the irresponsible use of the air conditioning by some previous tenants in high season, guests may be required to pay extra for electric cards. The first 50 euros however will be included in the initial booking cost.

About the neighbourhood
Calasparra is a traditional town situated 45kms north-west of Murcia and close to the historic towns of Cehegin and Caravaca de la Cruz. It is aptly known as the 'paradise of the region' due to the stunning landscapes, lush green fields and variety of colours in the surrounding countryside. Calasparra rice can be found all over Spain and due to the plentiful water supplies, many fruits and vegetables are grown locally and sold at the local markets (Calasparra market is held each Friday).
Running through Calasparra is the Rio Segura, a favourite with locals for fishing and swimming as well as white water rafting.
The first week in September is fiesta week (one of the many fiestas held in the region). At this time many of the Spanish cultural activities take place including bull run...

Although Calasparra is only a few minutes away, the heat of the Summer is not conducive to walking and a car is essential.
