Interaction with guests
I moved to the area as a teenager and after moving away for university couldn't wait to move back to bring up my own children in the beautiful surroundings of Northumberland. I offer this home in order to let holidays makers come and live like a local. It is also the perfect base for work as it really is a home from home. There will be a lockbox at the property, we are local to the property living in a neighbouring town so close if you need us for anything.

About the neighbourhood
Just a short drive to the Coast in one direction or to the Country side in the other. The property is also just a short walk to the Wansbeck River which has some beautiful walks and a Play park for the children. For those needing access to the A1 or the A19 then this property is perfectly located. Jump on the train from Morpeth and spend the day in Newcastle or Durham or even Edinburgh. Northumberland really is a great base to explore not only Northumberland but the surrounding areas.
Getting around
Car would be our recommended mode of transport however there are good bus services running through Ashington. There is also a train station in the neighbouring town of Morpeth that is accessible by bus or taxi. If you are an avid cyclist then Ashington is a great location to use as your base.
