La Lomita was the perfect place for our family vacation on the eastern side of Puerto Rico. It felt remote yet was easy to get to places - beaches, El Yunque, San Juan, etc. Hector and Kim were sweet hosts - we didn't see them much yet they responded quickly to any questions we had. The pool was a wonderful treat both day and night. And to top off the experience was the magical sounds of the rainforest!

Two couples in our 60's making our first trip to Puerto Rico. The house fit our needs perfectly! Comfortable, full of useful information, great place to hang out. Loved the pool. Kim and Hector were great - friendly, around and helpful when we needed them! Kim even help bring me to a local pharmacy.

We loved this property so much that we came for a second time (our first visit was in 2019). Hector and Kim are the most gracious hosts, who we now consider friends. The gardens and grounds are impeccably kept with a wide and wonderful array of blooming and fruiting foliage. We walked the long path to the gate several times daily and found something new or awesome. The house was clean and comfortable, with enough room for our family of six. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating on the patio, which has a stunning view of the surrounding rainforest jungle. The pool (added since our first visit) was a fun addition and enjoyed by all. La Lomita was close enough to everywhere we wanted to be and far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our stay was fabulous, and we highly recommend this property. Thanks again, Kim and Hector!

This was one of the most wonderful places we have vacationed. From the hospitality to the amenities and cleanliness and seclusion of the property all of our boxes were checked! Kim and Hector made our stay feel like home. this Hacienda in the most beautiful rainforest is highly recommended by our family! We will be returning for sure.

Really enjoyed our stay at La Lomita. House is well appointed and great amenities. Pool was just wonderful for the kids and the view was spectacular. Kim was so great and gave us some really good recommendations. Hector takes great pride in keeping the house and property in tip top order. Hosts little dogs hanging around was a lovely bonus. My little one kept asking when we’d be back to visit. I hope soon!!

We cannot say enough about our stay at La Lomita. The home itself, the property, the location and of course the hosts all made this a truly wonderful stay for our family. The rental unit was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. This includes the outdoor pool and patio area where we spent a lot of time. The property is incredible, well-maintained, and fully of vegetation, flowers and fruit growth throughout. Hector even harvested us fresh coconuts one morning that we all enjoyed! Close to SJU and Luquillo, it is in a great location while still off of the main roads. Hector and Kim could not have been kinder hosts and went out of their way to make our stay special. We will absolutely be returning!

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at La Lomita. We stayed as a family of 5 and there was more than enough room to spread out. Kim and Hector are very welcoming and have a gift for hospitality. They gave us many recommendations during our stay. We loved the pool when we were at the house. Each room has its own TV which is beneficial during downtime. We explored the island. The house is very convenient to the rainforest, restaurants and beaches. House was also very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. Would love to come stay again in the future.

This home is in close proximity to beaches, activities, and great food. It has everything you need for a relaxing day in as well. There is not a tv in the living area as shown in one of the pictures if that is important to you. Owners are on site and very responsive to any questions or needs. We enjoyed it so much and plan to return. The weather was beautiful.

The place is excellent and the owners very helpful, it was like being at a relative's house. We love it.

Our family loved this place!! Great location to rainforest and beach, but our most cherished time was the walks down the drive way admiring the little lizards and flora! The pool was amazing, we had family “midnight” swims with our kids (really 8pm) and it will be forever remembered! Plus the house had everything you need, and really if they didn’t have it you don’t need it! The owners really make this place more of an experience rather than a place to stay and you can tell!
