I own a small apartment in Bolneuvo, Mazarron and have been visiting for the past 11 years. The area has benefitted from a new Marina in the Port and from new promenades. It is fairly quiet apart from peak holiday times. It is not a British tourist place and the Brits you will meet are mostly owners who either live there or visit regularly. It is not to be compared with the more tourist spots in Spain - the pace is slow and you need a little Spanish to get by. Public transport is good, reliable and cheap. It is not a very sophisticated place but that only adds to it's charm. Walking inn the hills, cycling, swimming and visiting the good selection of cafes and restuarants are the main means of entertainment.
