This is a small quaint out of the way restaurant located at the junction of Danny Thomas Blvd., North Parkway and Manassas St. on the north side of downtown Memphis. The BBQ sauce is not typical Memphis style. It is more reminicescent of the North Carolina vinegar sauce but with a less vinegary, more pleasant flavor.The sliced pork sandwich is served on a hogie roll and is excellent. This restaurant is unusual in that it does not have the typical potato products (FF, potato salad, baked potato) that usually accompany BBQ. However the BBQ spaghetti is a good replacement for the potato products and the flavor is very pleasant. There are other unusual menu items as well, such as BBQ corn (on the cob), BBQ cornish hen, etc.
