Shopping In the Binghamton area can be located on the nearby Vestal Parkway, the Oakdale Mall in Johnson City and at an increasing number of places in downtown Binghamton and Main Street Binghamton. Clinton Street, near downtown, is also home to several antique stores.
The Vestal Parkway has many typical chain stores; Kohl's, Target, Barnes and Noble as well as Pier One, HomeGoods and Dress Barn. Further down the Parkway more shops can be found such as Chico's, Coldwater Creek and Ann Taylor Loft. The Oakdale Mall, located on Harry L. Drive in Johnson City, houses Macy's, Eddie Bauer, Abercrombie and Fitch, Kay Jewelers, Yankee Candle, Foot Locker and many more.
Downtown Binghamton is undergoing a rennaisance of sorts and new art galleries, cafes and shops have begun to open up on State Street, Washington Street and Court Street. Boscov's is a department store downtown at the corner of Water and Court Street. Also centrally located on Court Street is Sall Stearns Mens Clothing and further down Court Street, a clothing and sporting goods store. M.Y. Boutique, a store geared towards professionals and students is also now open on Washington Street. On Lewis Street, The Goldsmith- fine designer jewelry-is located in the newly restored Kilmer building which was originally built in 1903.
Antique stores include Mad Hatter Antiques on Clinton Street, Riverfront Antiques on Front Street and Midtown Antiques on Chenango Street.
