Kennebunkport can boast of a busy annual calendar of events. Here is a sampling:

*Kennebunk Land Trust holds an annual dinner and auction in May each year. If you have visited Kennebunkport before or want to support the area, this is one way to do it. It includes a catered dinner and live and silent auctions.

*During the summer months, you might enjoy the summer concert series held weekly in July and August on the lawn just adjacent to the South Congregational Church in Kennebunkport.

*July 4th brings fireworks on Gooch’s beach each year. This is an annual tradition in Kennebunkport and one not to be missed if you’re visiting the beach for Independence Day.

*In September, the annual Laudholm Nature Crafts Festival comes to town, featuring about 100 artisans who bring a wide array of crafts to the festival, which range from baskets to jewelry, photography to sculpture.

*If you’re in Kennebunkport in December, try and check out the Prelude to Christmas Festival. It’s usually held on two separate weekends toward the start of the month and features caroling, an arts and craft show, the arrival of Santa by lobster boat and much more. It’s sure to get you in the holiday spirit.
