The international traveler arrives by plane in Bradley International Airport. There are both direct flights and connections from major location in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. There are other airports in the region (Danielson, Groton-New London, Windham and Woodstock Airports) but they have no scheduled commercial airline services only receiving charter and private airplanes.
If you arrive by bus, Greuhound and Peter Pan/Arrow Bus Lines have daily sheduled services to New London from nearby and out of State destinations.
Travelers can also arrive by train. New London station is serviced by luxurious Acela Express that connects Boston and Washington passing by Philadelphia and New York. On Acela Express, travelers enjoy a first class service with business class seating, conference tables, cafe car and at seat cart service. The train offers the benefit of fewer stops and an hourly service between the destinations.
New London is also service the Regional train connecting Boston to Newport News. It offers connection to Newport, Rhode Island and Martha's Vineyard.
