Although it can be visited throughout the year, certain months can be more comfortable than others due to rain. Note that the climate varies greatly throughout Fiji , based on the area’s topography.
On average, the hottest months of the year are January, February and March, during which time the daily high temperatures will generally hover in the mid to upper 80’s. The nighttime temperatures during these months will generally drop to the mid 70’s. These warmer months of the year are generally the rainiest as well.
The coolest months of the year on average are July and August, during which time the daily high temperatures will reach the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. The nighttime temperatures during these months will generally fall to the upper 60’s. This time of the year is the driest in Suva , and is a nice time to visit during.
