The Orangerie cultural center in Roissy-en-France hosts local and regional events for more than 400 guests at a time. The town is home to both a school of dance and a school of music, and Orangerie’s artist in residence organizes an event every year with schoolchildren and the local associations involving choreography, sculpture, and much more. Depending on the international artists who perform at Orangerie, events range from classical concerts and popular singers to international dance companies, comedians, and story tellers.

Of course there are virtually unlimited performing arts opportunities in Paris, which is just 15 miles away. English-language listings are available in the weekly entertainment guide Pariscope, and in the English-language bimonthly Boulevard. Most performances start around 8pm or 9pm .

The most affordable tickets can be purchased through theater box offices or discount agencies, such as the Kiosque Theatre on place de la Madeleine, which offers half-price tickets the day of the performance. You can also find tickets at the ticket agencies near the Right Bank hotels, but you will pay top-dollar there.
