The Tourist Board for the small town of Grasmere, located right by the Lake District National Park in England's Cumbria region, has a helpful website for travelers: www.grasmere.com. The site provides visitors with information on the region's natural recreational resources, sports activities, hotels and camp sites, area history, dining listings and local attractions to name only a few of the topics it covers. And because the Grasmere region is popular among tourists traveling in RV's, among the most helpful of the site's pages are its listings of RV-friendly parks and resources.
People who love to shop will find information on Gramere's boutiques and stores on the site, and the attractions page lists information on a few of the area's most popular destinations including Dove Cottage, the former home of the famous English writer, William Wordsworth, who called the village home for part of his career.
For further information on Grasmere and its surrounding region and businesses use the information provided on the Tourist Board's Business Page.
