Whistler doesn't really have "cheap eats" but does have some more affordable options to the more expensive restaurants.
Do it yourself options:
IGA - located in the Marketplace
Upper Village Market - located in the Upper Village, Intrawest Resort Building (will deliver groceries to your hotel)
The Grocery Store - located in the Village Square (will deliver groceries to your hotel)
Fast Food Options: (limited seating)
McDonald's is decorated very nicely - in the Marketplace
KFC - next to IGA in the Marketplace
Domino's Pizza - behind the Marketplace next to 7/11 (no seating area, take out only)
Dups Burritos - delicious Mexican that won’t cost a fortune - 604-905-0210 - 4368 Main Street #114 (next to Crepe Montagne)
Quiznos (subs) - behind the Marketplace across from the 7/11
Splitz Grill - great place for burgers, behind the Marketplace across from the 7/11 (next to Quiznos)
Opa! has fabulous Greek gyros and more. This was a favorite place. Big portions.
Subway - located behind the Conference Centre
Zogs Dogs - located near the Skiers Plaza in the village, across from Carleton Lodge, is a great outdoor place for hot dogs, and poutine
Casual Cafes / Deli:
Portobello across from the Fairmont Chateau Whistler has $4.75 coffee and pastry combo for breakfast and made to order sandwiches.
Ciao-Thyme Bistro - across from Fairmont Chateau Whistler is a good place for hot breakfast and lunch
Beetroot Cafe - breakfast and lunch options -in the Marketplace by IGA
Hot Buns Bakery - their cinnamon buns is a must try, located in Village Square behind La Brasserie
Wildwood - for breakfast and lunch - located in Function Junction south of Creekside - you'll need a car
Old Spagetti Factory - in the Village, underneath the Crystal Lodge good ol' family dining atmosphere
White Spot - hard to explain where this is but it's between the conference centre and the village bus loop
Pasta Lupino - behind the Marketplace next to 7/11 - small place but good pasta dishes
Caramba - in Village North, diagonally across from the Gap store - food family restaurant
Bars and Sport Pubs:
Tapley's - great pub food - a bit run down but has different lunch and dinner specials daily, across the conference centre
Brewhouse - good pub food in Village North
Dusty's is a good place for pub fare
BBQ Bob's by Nita Lake Lodge
Creekbread - great pizza!
